Ordered our first four deep dish My Pi pizzas from Goldbelly back in mid July. They were all delicious. Great flavor! Sauce, toppings and crust were terrific. My wife and I live at the Beach in Saint Simon's Island, GA and there is nothing close...to these pizzas anywhere near us. It is really fantastic to have these available for us so far away from the Chicago area. I am ordering 4 more from Goldbelly today and will look forward to receiving them when they arrive in a couple of weeks. Only downside is we have to wait a little while, but it is worth it.More

Delicious deep dish pizza

I learned of My Pie on a recent visit to Chicago through a Pizza City USA tour. Had the pleasure of meeting Rich, the owner, who explained the history of their family restaurant and their pizza. Absolutely loved the deep dish pizza with sausage -...great flavor in the sauce, well-balanced ingredients, and a hearty crust. I highly recommend, and will definitely come back to My Pie on future trips to Chicago.More

Very INconsistent

this place is up and down. i've been four times. got a BLT and a grilled reuben sandwich. both were great, but the next time i got two reubens. one was fine but the other was cold, not grilled and the cheese not melted. also,...in both cases it took a very long time to get the sandwiches, over 10 minutes. got a whole pizza once and it was great. but the next time i got 3 slices (2 thin, 1 deep) and they were very poor--dead crust, little flavor, too salty. i don't think i'll go back anymore. it's like the 2-faced girl from seinfeld.More

Great Mushroom pizza!

Really friendly service and excellent pizza - highly recommend - I had the Truffle Mushroom which was delicious

Love this corn crust pizza!

Although the place is a dump they have the best corn crust pizza! Always friendly staff and you can eat outside on picnic tables BYOB. 5 stars for pizza, 1 star for ambiance & atmosphere.

Great Deep Dish Pizza

My Pie was one of my favorite pizzas when I lived in Chicago 36 years ago, so imagine my surprise when I found it still existed, when I recently visited Chicago. Well, sort of. It used to be a full sized restaurant, but now is...in a different location and it appears to be more of a "take-out" establishment. There are a few small tables and chairs inside and a few for outside dining (but the weather was not great when we visited) if you want to eat in. The pizza, however, was EXACTLY as I remembered it, tasty, with great crust and generous toppings. Glad I made the effort to find My Pie again!More

Better than Lou’s

One of the better deep dishes in Chicago! Crust was crisp, sauce and cheese were very fresh, and toppings were flavorful. This place should be higher on people’s radar for experiencing Chicago deep dish!

Best Pizza on the planet

The pizza here is the best I have ever had. There used to be several of these throughout the United States. I have eaten My Pi in Miami and Phoenix and Chicago. Sadly, only the Chicago location remains..and it has moved from Fullerton and Clark...finally to Damen. I am glad there is still one left. Every time I am in Chicago, I stop in for pizza. They will ship to your home - that is not quite as good as eating at the restaurant.More

Best deep dish pizza!!

This place was recommended by Ray at Ray's Bucktown B&B. We each had a slice of deep dish pizza and it was the best we'd tried.It's a small place with some seats indoors and some outdoors. Worth it!!

The crust is a must!!!

Best crust ever!!! It is perfect. Cheese was just right and the other topping were good, not plentiful but good. You can skip the "chain" pizza places cause they wont be as good as here. The place is super small as it only sits about...6. There are picnic tables outside. The parking lot is even smaller. Better be a skilled parker or drive a compact. Street parking is also available. Worth the trip.More
