Having been to several of the different Leona's Pizzeria's throughout Chicago, we were in the area of the United Center and decided to come here for pizza prior to the event. We found that this Leona's location has closed for good. It is no longer listed on the website and the phone number is disconnected.

My wife very much enjoyed her cheese ravioli while the spaghetti I got was really good. Fair prices and friendly staff.

The service was a little slow at the beginning but it perked up once they got their momentum going. The Peach Tea was a treat, it was in such a large glass there was no need for refills. The fish and chips were excellent with the little Cajun sauce they had to go with it.

The Leona's franchise is dying. I’ve been going to the Leona's on Taylor Street since I was in college in the early 1970's. When my wife and I moved to the neighborhood in the late 1980's, Leona's was one of our regular favorites. Sadly, tonight is the last time I will ever go there, despite the free parking. This once... Ok, so Leona's is not the best food ever. However, if you do not want Olive Garden, Leona's is your place. I love that some locations deliver. The spaghetti is decent, comes with a decent marinara and one giant meatball. The Killer Garlic Bread is absolutely delicious! I ate it two days in a row and I swear it cured... More

After leaving the Art Institute we headed away from the city proper figuring that it would be easier to park and less crowded for a Friday evening. We stopped first at Tuscany's and the valet suggested another restaurant, but it too was very dressy and we were just looking for great pizza. Their valet pointed out Leona's across the street.... Not too expensive, big portions, cozy, nice first date but won't break your budget date place.
