My husband had heard how great this pizza place was in Chicago. I was up to ride and hungry for some great pizza. I was shocked by how great this place is ...seriously! The choices that are ready to eat had me drooling. When I noticed the local cops and city workers that stopped in for lunch - I knew... More

What a wonderful little nearly hole in the wall place. As soon as you walk in you're treated to a stack of awards and write up ups, not to mention the smell of fresh pies enrobing your nostrils with their beautiful aroma - Like Channel #9 of pizza. The pizza is truly an art form. There is no godly way... More

Much like Sun Tzu's The Art of War, The art of Pizza is equally well thought out and perfect at its specialty, with the combination of great food, quick service, and cheap prices TAOP is one of the greatest pizza places in Chicago.

The Art of Pizza has the largest stuffed pizza that I've been able to find in Chicago. While I've had pizza that I found tastier, the sheer size of Art of Pizza's pizza is worth going for. The meat lover's is delicious. Plus, they sell pizza by the slice in the store, which is great!

This pizza blew my mind! Everything about it was amazing. When I dream of pizza, I will not only dream of this pizza. The crust was nice and crispy, the deep dish fillings were warm and delicious with a perfect combination of sauce, cheese and toppings. Honestly, this place may have ruined me for pizza because I don't know how... More

I really liked this place. It has a very blue collar feel to it, which made it feel like I was with some friends, even though I wasn't. I really liked that they had a bunch of different deep dish pies one could grab a slice from, rather than having to get a whole pie. This allowed me to sample... More

Growing up in an Italian family it is difficult to find a restaurant that has the same flavor and authenticity my family brought from the old country. Makes me think of the family dinners growing up.

I don't think you could find a more perfect ratio between sauce, cheese, and toppings anywhere in the world. The pre-cooked pizza per slice may create some skepticism amongst pizza connoisseurs, this restaurant is perfect for local, Chicago-style deep dish.

Found this place because of great reviews on Yelp and they were right. Excellent pizza by the slice to you can enjoy several different types of pizza's in one visit. Inexpensive, mondo-sized pieces ( I love pizza and could only put away 3 slices) and very helpful staff.

I was looking for a different place to try a deep dish at, and I came across the art of pizza in a google search. it had won some awards, and it wasn't far from the area I was in. there was a menue online, but truthfully, I didn't really look at it because all I wanted was a deep... More
