If your looking for a great, lively atmosphere with fantastic food, this is it! We were there celebrating our anniversary, but I also saw groups of friends, families, and couples. If your a big eater, this may not be the place for you. But I...More

I've been to RPM Steak many times. Decided to try out the sister restaurant this time around. SO GLAD. The Italian salad was delish, but the tomato sauce and giant meatball suggested by the bartender was just incredible. Tastes like fresh tomato w/ herbs. I...More

Enjoyed a nice dinner with 9 people for my daughter's bachelorette party. Our waiter was very attentive and dinner was delicious. Booking the reservation early was easy. Absolutely would recommend!!

The food is good (small portions though), however the service is horrible. They really don't know how to properly serve a customer. We felt like we were abandoned at a table, even having besides having the plates thrown at our table... Bad experience Do not...More

First off, we had great service. Wilson waited on us and got us everything we needed. We had a reservation and did not have to wait for our table. Everything we needed and wanted was provided quickly and we were treated great. However, the food...More

Took a girls trip to Chicago and got lucky enough to get a reservation at RPM. It was an early reservation so it wasn't very crowded. The food was outstanding - we had the Carbonara and it just melted in your mouth. Once done with...More

I can see where this place would be excellent for a date night. With the smaller portions and sharing encouraged, it doesn't work well for business where everyone's tastes are different and might be awkward as a first meeting. I looked around and noticed the...More

My son and I stopped in before the Metallica concert at Soldier Field so we were a little under dressed. The staff was very courteous though and we got seated immediately. The meatball appetizer was very good and had 4 good sized meat balls. We...More

It is ok to bring children although it is typically for adults and it is expensive. They do not have a children's menu to my knowledge, like some restaurants do.
What is the appropriate dress code for men? Is a jacket required? Are slacks and a golf polo acceptable?

I'm a female and on a business trip to Windy City, for only 50h. I had a classic turtle neck and dark blue jeans and felt comfortable. I'd say it's casual to classic rather than fancy. Enjoy your visit!

Family is fine if you want to pay the prices. Definitely geared towards adults though.

RPM Italian presents cuisine that is modern in approach and Italian in spirit, with dishes intended to be shared. Chef partner Doug Psaltis has created a menu which features a variety of cold and hot antipasti, more than a dozen freshly prepared in-house pastas, and a selection of salads, prime steaks, chops and slow-roasted meats. The restaurant also has an open bar area where guests can order a signature cocktail, or enjoy a glass of wine from their extensive list. Sophisticated and chic, yet unpretentious, RPM Italian is perfect for a great meal or late night out.
