Corcoran's has a cool vibe and is a perfect spot to grab an app or drink before or after Second City (or before AND after if you're like us)! The food is middle of the road, price-wise, and was pretty good. Plenty of beers to choose from (primarily Irish brews) and a nice cocktail menu. There's also a beer garden... More

You grab your own seat, either in the pub itself or outdoors in the front or back. Televisions have sporting events playing. Wait staff work hard to keep up with everyone's orders. After choosing beers from an extensive list, we checked out the food options. There's quite a range, and our group had bangers and mash, specialty mac and cheese,... More

Stopped in here for drinks and appetizers. Waitress was really good to us. Had 2 rounds. Ordered nachos, cheese fries, and cheese curds (deep fried). The food was excellent. Drinks were cold. The place has a bunch of big screen TV's so I think this would be a good place to go to watch a game. However, it doesn't have... More

We were a family of 4 with two teen boys and were going before our trip to Second City (which is across the street). We had reservations on open table, but apparently, they don't take reservations. Then as we tried to get the next table, there was a group that almost took the table from us. They still haven't acknowledged... More

My wife and I were thirsty after walking from the Northwest train station on Madison so we stopped in for a Guinness on a Monday afternoon. The temperature of the stout was slightly warmer than most pours and it was the best. We also tried the Irish Charcuterie appetizer since it was 50% off on Monday. It was nothing special,... More

This restaurant had surprisingly good food, especially for a pub. From broiled or fried fish to wraps and burgers, there is something for everyone. The service was great - very attentive. Prices are reasonable and, of course, there are drinks aplenty. And it wasn't too loud to hear each other speak. I will eat here again.

Stopped here after a show at The Second City for a bite to eat. Husband and I aren't drinkers but the food was excellent! Not too crowded on a Friday night and atmosphere was nice.

After visiting the Zoo Lights, we walked to this restaurant with some family members who had been there before. It's a small, unique pub. As we walked in, we got lucky and a table was getting up so we could be seated. You make friends easily with the tables being so close together. It was a friendly environment, but because... More

We were staying in the Lincoln Park area and went out for a walk and just happened to happen upon Corcorans It was absolutely buzzing on a Saturday night and we found out the Cubs were playing (and won) the baseball divisional final game so that helped the atmosphere for sure It's a deceptively long premises and you walk through... Great Irish Pub in Old Town. The pub is maybe 18 feet wide with the bar along one wall and booths and tables of varying size along the other. The staff was courteous, friendly and attentive without smothering us. (I hate smothering) it's obviously a locals hangout and the crowd was constant and the chatter made talking difficult; but the... More
