Cute, hipster coffee shop. Large space. There were multiple tables, bar seats and a few couches. Wifi was free and worked well. Had a piece of pie with my cappuccino which was very delicious. Enjoyed trying a new coffee place but nothing specific made it stand out from all the other options in the area. I would go again but... More

Tried to order 4 expresso shots over ice in a medium to go cup and was told, and I quote, "that is not how we make them"... REALLY? Intelligensia is right down the street mister man bun. Go here if u love arrogant hipster attitude

Grabbed a latte and brown almond butter muffin. Both were very good, the muffin was gluten free, very moist and not sugary at all. I was hesitant going back to Logan Square as the other shops I went to drowned out any bit of ambiance with loud, angry-at-my-parents music but despite the early 80s interior (an era I happen to... Great place for a conversation and a coffee. I have been there many times and served by many different people and have almost always come away with feeling how great the service was. And the best coffee in the neighborhood!

The coffee and food were decent and basic, if not a tad overpriced. However, the service was terrible. The hipster vibe was on 11 on a 1-10 scale. Very unwelcoming and unprofessional. Won't be going back.

The coffee and food are decent. A little over priced $3.75 for a plain croissant. The servers have an attitude problem. They have a " what do you want, your lucky I'm serving you" attitude. Not inviting. I came here to kill time and relax using their WiFi. I won't be coming here again anytime soon. Don't know if it... More

Ambling down to the farmers' market before opening, praying to find coffee and rolls. New Wave croissants saved my life. I had a ham and cheese; then followed that with an almond croissant. mmmmm.... I took a muffin and croissants back to my niece's place. Everyone was happy. This is definitely the place to go for early morning coffee and... More

Hyper hipster, mismatched couches and all. Expensive coffee drinks, ironic service. Fair amount of seating, packed on weekends. Did have a nicely varied crowd, not just uber hip.

This place has incredible coffee, free wifi, and none of the frills. Which is what makes it awesome. There are crazy looking chairs, funny antique posters, and and even more interesting mix of visitors here. I love this place.

New Wave has an energetic vibe! Good (and cheap) coffee and good atmosphere! I would definitely be back often.
