Lovely atmosphere and decor. We sat in a corner of the bar in a booth, which was quieter on a weeknight than it would be on a weekend, and quieter than the main part of the restaurant. The squash soup was excellent, creamy and complex. The pennone pasta was quite good, with fine mushrooms and truffle oil. The cauliflower side... More

This is a very convenient and delicious lunch spot for a business meeting. There is always so pasta made by scratch to choose from as well as a good selection of salads and other options.

The Florentine is located within the JW Marriott. It is a bit expensive, like many hotel restaurants, but the food is good. It is strongest at breakfast and good for lunch. I thought my dinner was fine, but only that. Service at dinner was friendly, but slow.

We enjoyed a lovely dinner with exceptional food and service. We also had brunch there and enjoyed lox and bagels.

Had lunch here last week and the food and service were excellent. I appreciate a place that values your time and the food came quickly. Our starters included the Burrata and roasted butternut squash Zuppa and mains of the short rib and gnocchi. All were delicious and well prepared. Highly recommended.

I was a guest of a colleague for lunch and had a great time. While not typically in the south loop for lunch, this has to be on your radar. Very welcoming staff from the hostess, coat check, waiter And bus boy. We all dined on fantastic ceaser salad's, some plain and others garnished with chicken, that was accompanied by... More

While staying at the JW Marriott in downtown Chicago, we had breakfast at the hotel restaurant, the Florentine. The restaurant is beautiful with a very authentic Italian feel. It is very intimate and romantic. We only had breakfast there, but we did review the dinner menu and it had a very wide selection of Italian dishes. The wait staff are... More

This was the most amazing eggs benedict I ever ate. So fresh and different with avocado and ham on it. My friend ate the French Toast and gave me a taste and it was fabulous.

This place is a hidden gem, located on the 2nd floor of the JW Marriott, most people get lost in the lobby bar, which is fine as well. Florentine carries with it a special aura, with customized attention to each customer, a staff that is as attentive to your specific tastes and needs, and an ambiance that is conversation friendly... The service from the greeting to the farewell was courteous, attentive and professional. The food (Eggs Florentine in particular) was well delivered if overly supportive of Idaho's economy. Ambience is business appropriate and you can hear yourself think.
