My friend and I loved this place. We were seated close to other tables and chatted a little with the other patrons, but it wasn't obnoxiously close. Our server was extremely friendly and was able to recommend items. I love when servers know their menu....More

Simply Amazing! Food literally dissolves in your mouth. One of the best restaurants to date and it’s been a highlight of the trip to Chicago. We had 5 appetizers and entries for two people. Everything was so delicious that I would have a hard time...More

Stopped in here on a Monday night for some wine and snacks for an impromptu girls night. The place was already packed and they told us it would be about 25-30 min wait. We waited only about 10 mins and were sat right away. It...More

I was strongly recommended to visit and was not disappointed. I had pig fried almonds, fried pig's ear in kale salad with egg and pickled pepper, skewers with cheese and poached pear, pork shoulder that was melting apart, lemon panna cotta with candied pistachios and...More

Stopped here with a group of coworkers and enjoyed dining on the outside patio. The weather was perfect and the service was just right. Everyone's choice was delicious and nobody had any complaints. Well worth the stop in a great part of the city.

Tapas style dining reminiscent of European bistros. Samples of cheeses, meats and unusual but tasty treats. Our server was helpful with selections. Easy to find. Downtown, so, no parking, of course.

I've frequented the purple pig twice (solo), and each time was a great culinary and social experience. Communal dinning can be a great way to meet new people. The food is delivered promptly and artfully prepared. Also, there is a wide array of drinks to...More

Magnificent Mile

Avenue, the eight-block stretch known as Magnificent
Mile. This area between Oak Avenue and the Chicago
River is more a shopping paradise than a full-out
neighborhood. For prime upscale shopping, this is the

shoppers. You'll also find hundreds of restaurants and
