We went here looking for traditional dim sum and some proper Chinese food. We hadn't booked - just headed for Chinatown and picked a place at random so it was good that we were sat down immediately at a window seat - to be fair, there were lots of available seats - we were one of only 3 tables. The... More

I was familiar with 2 other dim sum houses, one has been torn down and the other with a new name. We chose Triple Crown due to the traditional carts. Caution, dining is on the 2nd floor. We had to carry our stroller upstairs and fold it. All of our favorites were present, taro cake, turnip cake, lotus sticky rice,... More

My niece and I went to the art institute and then here for a late lunch to take in a bit of culture. Took an UBER for about $5. Since it was a cooler day the .50 pot of tea tasted good upon arrival. You walk up the stairs to the second floor and our table was at the windows... More

This restaurant caught my attention upon my arrival in Chinatown.Quite busy on weekends so maybe the service might disappoint you a bit and it's only normal.Other than that the personnel was very kind.Typical Chinese restaurant hall on the first floor with the traditional round tables. They serve you a kettle of tea with every order. The food comes in huge portions so... My daughter loves to hit the K-Pop store in Chinatown when we visit Chicago. We wandered into the Triple Crown for authentic Chinese. We were happy to find the Dim Sum here at the Triple Crown. Tried many new items to us and were not disappointed. Recommend you try a variety from the Dim Sum menu. Prices were very reasonable.

We recently lunched at Triple Crown. While the service was good, the food was just so-so. We ordered from the dim sum, lunch, and dinner menus. The dim sum items were the tastiest and freshest. The other dishes were rather gloppy and tasteless. We won't be going back.

My son and I stopped in Chinatown for a lunch. Close to the train on Wentworth. Restaurant is upstairs , look up for the signage. They offer a nice selection of Dim Sum. Before you order, look on the table card, both sides, they offer daily specials at a better price. I noticed them too late and had already placed... More

I went late afternoon on a Monday. You order off a dim sum menu with pictures and they make everything fresh. The different dishes were very good to excellent. I also had the Triple Crown special crispy fried thin noodles with seafood, which was fantastic. It came with big shrimp, scallops, fish, straw mushrooms and baby bok choy. It was... More

Stopped in here on a whim. The atmosphere was friendly, the food was great. The servers were very helpful as we tried to decide which options to try. We loved everything!
