Had a wonderful lunch - great variety of pressed sandwiches. Even vegetarian. Nice selection of local beers. Coffee to die for-- sweet and strong. It's a don't miss. Walkable from the MCA.

Very nice location for a quick lunch. Sandwiches are tasty and service is fast. The location is modern and fit very well to the hostel next to it.

If you are looking for some good tasting food in a very casual atmosphere, this is your place. I gave Cafecito an average review because of my Cuban Sandwich. It was just okay and I felt it should have been a little more memorable. That said, the Cuban coffee was excellent. My husband had Ropa Vieja and it was delicious.... More

Walked in and received immediate attention from staff regarding food order and very prompt service to the table. Tasty authentic Cuban food served by efficient and friendly staff. A really enjoyable lunch experience.

On my visit to chicago. I stopped by a cuban restaurant to have breakfast, but costumer service was horrible. We discovered this little gem by accident. My wife and I were strolling towards Michigan Avenue and saw this small Cuban cafe. It can get crowded, but mostly because the food is excellent and not very expensive. Finding the restroom is a little tricky- it's out the door and upstairs, so you'd better ask. However, the sandwiches were so good,... More

A friend introduced me to this place around corner from library and next to hostel. Refreshing alternative to chain sandwich shops. Menu diverse with fresh greens and flavors. I got la costa with turkey avocado chipotle . Yum. Perfect for afternoon hunger.

Awesome Cuban food in the Central Business District (Loop). Give this place a try, a meal probably goes for about $10. Nothing in the Loop is truly "cheap". But this is a popular place for the weedday lunch crowd.

Cafecito is a great little Cuban coffe sandwich shop. Their pressed sandwiches are amazingly tasty, fresh, well thought out in ingredient combination, and the location can't be beat. I honestly didn't realize they also served coffee! I love the sandwiches!

Stopped here for a pre-party snack for my husband and me on NYE. El Toro pressed sandwich and black bean soup were both fabulous. Will definitely go back for more!
