One of the best bars in Chicago downtown, a little on the expensive edge but the ambiance and food/drink options are worth it. Make sure to bring an ID.

We stopped in for happy hour hoping to score a 50% off sushi roll. They did not disappoint. Sushi was fabulous! Tuna Thai basil was so good we ordered another. Spicy tuna was good too but a bit too spicy for my Midwestern tastebuds. Draft...More

My wife and I, along with a couple friends, ate here the evening after the marsthon. What a great choice. The food was amazing, the drinks were plentiful and good and there were great gluten free options which was key for my wife. Special shout...More

The menu was fairly small but it had an awesome variety of things. We needed up trying a bunch of different things. The bang bang cauliflower was a hit! We also tried the nachos and a sandwich. The drinks were also very good, we each...More

My nephew took us to dinner at Hub 51. LOVED the brussel sprout salad and the burgers were great as well.

I ordered the brusselsprout salad with sirloin. The salad was excellent, but the meat was under cooked (I ordered medium well and it was bloody). Service was good and friendly and the price was reasonable for the location and quality.

You find the best fish tacos here. They even say so in the menu. Try the guacamole to start, the chips are thin and delicious. There is a good selection of beers. You must have the carrot cake to finish, but be ware it needs...More

I have to say their web base was really off. I first looked at the menu on open table (OT). I saw something liked, and went to 51 for that item. When I tried to order it, I was told it was taken off the...More

Hi Kevin, we are sorry about the general experience you had with us. We did recently just re-do our menu and updates were submitted online. Unfortunately these updates take menu platforms some time to update. No excuses on our app, we will be getting this...More

Description
If it seems like HUB 51 is a continual party, that's just what creators R.J. and Jerrod Melman want. Their dad, Lettuce founder Rich Melman, always told them that the restaurant business should be fun, and, as Jerrod now interprets that advice, "We want to be as playful as possible, and have a good time with our customers and the people we work with." "Our goal for the menu was to create food we like to eat," says R.J. They loaded it up with sushi, tacos, sandwiches and burgers. Great salads and appetizers like the arugula Caesar and Pulled Chicken Nachos appeal to the bar crowd, while the filet mignon steak tacos and the charred sake salmon serve notice that HUB 51 is providing both a great time and wonderful food. With dozens of beers, wines and sakes, HUB 51 is all about what you like. SUB 51, a private lounge below the restaurant, becomes an exclusive nightclub on weekends, while space in the main restaurant is also available for private parties and semi-private events.
