The friendliness of the entire staff was only exceeded by the delicious food and wine. The pasta was divine. I especially enjoyed my Sausage and white beans. Topped it off with Vin Santo.

As my husband and I have lived in Chicago over five years and went to lots of restaurants, but Piccolo Sogno is the restaurant we always go back. It is the most beautiful, delicious, and valuable restaurants out there. Their focaccia, balsamic glaze, spaghetti neri, and branzino (special order) are absolutely amazing. The patio outside is very nice with light... More

My husband and I have been here numerous times, and it never disappoints. Consistent, authentic, delicious Italian food. The portions are reasonably sized, you won't be starving, but you won't have enough to feed an army when you are finished. For warmer months, they have a beautiful patio that will make you feel like you aren't in a city.

Excellent Italian restaurant in Chicago with knowledgeable servers to guide you through the menu that has both traditional offerings and interesting house specials. I would come back for the food but for “out of towners” the location seems a bit industrial and it’s good that they have valet parking. We came on the recommendation of a Chicago friend and did... We visited for dinner and were thoroughly impressed with the food and wine list. We shared several entrees: CAPPELLACCI DI ZUCCA, TAGLIATELLE BOLOGNESE, and BARBABIETOLE SALAD and all were excellent.

A first class staff & a first class menu at reasonable prices make this a go to place in Chicago (especially it seems on a Friday night when we were there). A pasta split for 2 was our first course & superb. The merluzzo (cod) & grilled poussin (w/broccoli rabe) followed & were equally great. Conversation was near impossible in... More

Wonderful experience. Food was exceptional. Started with an Arugula Parmesan flat bread, followed with calamari and fresh burrata. All four of us has a different pasta dish and loved them, especially the tagliatelle with bolognese. However, the desserts were really something. There is a cake, can't remember the name, that was beautiful. I'm still thinking about it. Almost like a... More

We are from out of town and we were meeting friends for dinner and they suggested Piccolo. This popular spot was wonderful. The menu had a nice variety and a few great specials rounded it out. On a sad note there weren't any meatballs which I crave at Italian restaurants, but the branzino made up for it--in spades. The fish... More

Great location, awesome wines Delicious food. It is pricey, but I do not regret going to this very good restaurant. It is not for a pre-marathon pasta dinner... Nice place, romantic, elegant. Excellent place for a romantic dinner. We loved the environment and the food.

We've heard about Piccolo Sogno for so long and finally had our first dinner there. Definitely not our last! It's such a happening spot. It's entertaining just to watch the kitchen and waitstaff perform their jobs. The food is over-the-top amazing. Their pastas are to die for. Their caprese salad is the best we've ever had. The calamari appetizer was... More
