I tried to make a reservation online and failed, so I tried calling the restaurant and they gladly gave me a table for two for a Sunday brunch. I was also asked If we were celebrating something, and I said yes, a birthday. We arrived at the restaurant with an extra person (my 11 year old daughter) and they still... More

Had my first avacodo margarita and another whiskey drink with hibiscus syurp. They have some very interesting drinks and homemade sangria. You should definitely give it a try.

My husband and I ran in to escape the rain. We enjoyed a flight of sangria, the bacon wrapped dates(absolutely amazing) but only had 4 small, chicken croquet, and olives. The sangria was perfect, the food, though small in portion was good. The service was moderate, and not especially friendly. We did finish with perfectly balanced Bailey's and coffee.

I just went to Mercat for the second time, and had yet another fantastic meal. The first time there we had a stellar dinner, and this time we went for brunch, and loved it too. Everything, absolutely everything, was delicious, and because they are small plates, you can try so many dishes. My only small , genuinely minor complaint is... More

Wonderful bar and great friendly staff. Enjoyed the sangria flight a lot. Highly recommended. They also have a very nice selection of cheeses. You'll enjoy their house bread to be sure.

We enjoyed our meal very much! We had the Chef's tasting menu with paired wines. The staff was knowledgeable about the food and wine list, friendly, and efficient. They were happy to provide alternative selections for a vegetarian diner. The atmosphere was lively and fun. The lamb and shrimp dishes were our favorites, though the asparagus salad and rabbit were... More

Now I will tell you quick reasons why this is not a good restauant: 1.- The dishes are not good and real as they should be. 1.1.- Patatas Bravas? That was paprika with mayo and tabasco. My dog could do it better... 1.2.- Paella with bread on it? Even the fattest person in spain would do that. 1.3.- The portions... More

I tend to eat in the bar, under Mercat, and love the fantastic food and good drinks. The bar is small can get busy if the hotel is hosting a convention but I've never not been able to get a seat at the bar if some of the tables are filled up.
