I am obsessed with this restaurant's tacos. They have amazing food overall and it's only gotten more popular since it opened. The main downside to this restaurant is the location. You have to go around the building to get the better parking, because there's only a few spaces right off the streets. This makes backing out into traffic particularly difficult... More

Always a pleasure stopping in here. New parking in back.green street construction now, right in front of the restaurant.you have a choice of grilled or fried on a lot of items.I enjoy the hot salsa since it has a nice kick to it. Fast friendly service even when they are busy. And that's most of the time.Enjoy.

We always stop at Maize on our trips to and from Chicago. Food is always excellent. Parking and seating can be tricky-but certainly worth overcoming these to eat there.

The place is great, and I haven't been to their new location over at the old train station. And if you need to poop, there is nothing better than beans and corn. I go there all the time. I live within walking distance. In fact, I'm on this site because I was looking for their hours and now, I'm waiting... More

My work team and I were working on a few items in the hotel during the day and had wanted to try this place the whole time that we had been in Champaign. We tried earlier in the week for dinner, but it was way too busy so on this fateful day, we had one member place an order and... More

I went here based on the restaurant's rating with Tripadvisor. I was definitely not disappointed. The food is very good quality and very inexpensive. The only drawback is it is very crowded and there is not a lot of seating. Because it is so popular, it can be noisy.

don't expect to sit down & dine - this very small place is more for carry out that sit down. But - when you can sit down - you can see all the wonderful food coming out of the kitchen. highly recommended.

For the first time in a long time I finally had real Mexican tacos. Not only the tacos are excellent, but the feel of the restaurant is just like being in a Taqueria in Mexico standing around for the tacos to be ready. Their "Tacos al Pastor" and "Carne Asada" are just as they were made in Mexico. Not a... More

You will not leave Maize hungry! Every menu option is fantastic. I personally recommend the burritos. The prices are a bit high, but you are getting quality.

I went to this restaurant with my friend from Latin America and we were very pleasantly surprised. This was one of the best Mexican food I had in Midwest US.
