We went on a Groupon and had the Bento box dinner. The sushi was fabulous and came with miso soup and a nice salad. I love the atmosphere a kind of modern Japanese, very comfortable. Good service.

The food is always fresh and delicious. The service is always prompt. I've eaten here dozens of times and have never been disappointed.

Swordfish doesn't get the kudos it deserves. Great food, atmosphere, and presentation. We're going to start going here more often.

Love the presentation of the food, quality is very good. The atmosphere is quiet - with all of these - we always enjoyed our dinner. It does not disappoint. There are a number of Japanese restaurant in the area but since we do not dine that often - we pick Swordfish as we know everything will be as good as... More

Not that Randall Road is exactly 'off the beaten path', but it certainly doesn't immediately come to mind when thinking about where to dine that isn't a chain. We tend to focus, at least mentally on the downtown districts from Aurora to St. Charles. But this is really a very solid choice for Asian, Seafood, or just cocktails and sushi.... More

Swordfish in Batavia is very consistent in their quality. Our family of 4 dines here or orders out about once a week from Swordfish and have been impressed with their friendly and personalized service. The quality and care of food preparation is very important to our family as one of our family members has life threatening gluten & diary allergies.... More

This is a place that come to mind when we are craving Sushi. However, the entire menu is good. Best I ever had and the presentation is flawless. The drinks are really good too. Try Pear Martini.

Nice alternative to the predictable chain restaurants on Randall Road. Crunch Crab appetizer was fresh with just the right amount of spicy heat. Of the three of us, two ordered sushi entrees and one ordered a cooked meal. The presentation of the plates of sushi was beautiful and the food was delicious. The salmon was cooked just right, not overdone.... More

Located in the outbuilding of a strip mall the restaurant can be a bit difficult to find if you don't know what you are looking for. Service was competent and helpful in dealing with unfamiliar menu items. Food was very tasty but a bit on the expensive side. The vegetarian in our party had ample choices and was quite satisfied... Have always wanted to give this place a try, based on the rave reviews. Hub and I went here for anniversary dinner. Atmosphere is very nice and everyone seems very friendly. We wanted to try a variety of dishes so decided to split a roll, appetizer, and entree. I have never seen a menu with so many choices on it,... More
