Last weekend we hosted a baby shower for my son. They wanted to invite a lot of guy friends. We searched and found the perfect venue!! It is Portillo's in Batavia, IL! It was very organized and easy to put together. The price was good, too! It included an appetizer, two sides (I recommend the Chopped Salad and French Fries),... More

Love Portillo's. Have been going to Portillo's for many years. Whenever a family member moves away, this is a necessary stop when they are back to visit.

Stopped for dinner and had to try the beautiful chocolate cake. It is wonderful and in a shake it's to die for. The Italian Beef sandwich explodes with juices and flavor. The decor is fun. The staff is average, but friendly.

What was the best Fast Food Restaurant ever? Hands down, Portillo's! Eating here was not like eating at a fast food place, not greasy and oh so good! Known for their hot dogs but the hamburgers are thick and juicy like home made. Their salads nice choices and filling! My daughters favorite charbroiled chicken sandwich – yummy! Award winning fall... More

Went through drive through; Very competent order takers and checkers made sure order was prepared accurately. Had chopped salad- probably the best I've had from a fast food place (Buona Beef is vlose). Burger was ordered cut in half and was! Only ding is on value - a burger will run you almost $5 and nearly $8 for salad. Large... More

I love Portillo's I either get a roast beef sandwich or a Chicago style hot dog with cheese fries and a root beer. I also get the Portillo's chocolate cake sometimes for birthdays or other celebrations.

Portillos is always good, no matter which one you go to. Not in the mood for beef? Try a tamale, surprisingly tasty! The down side to Portillos is how much it costs. It used to be the high end of reasonable, but now it's just flat out expensive carry out.

Pharmaceutical rep here. Spend between $180 - $500+ here a month. Manager gets extremely insulted when I request that the fries and/or onion rings are done at the time of pick up. I'm NOT standing there and waiting 15 extra minutes for them to finish 16 orders of onion rings! He insists they'll be soggy. I have to listen to... More

Clean place-bathrooms clean and well-stocked. Your table is cleaned before you finish your meal. I love promptness-but really?!? Food is good-served hot--Good place to dine on a budget.

Out shopping. Wanted something good for lunch.Had the beef, cheese frys and strawberry shake. Always good. The place is fast and friendly. Great old items to look at while you eat. A little pricy but very good.
