Third time we have been here - second time to eat. Dog friendly pub so don't go if you don't like dogs. Had pork shoulder with black pudding, mushroom and cream sauce first time - huge portion but superb quality. Today - another kettle of...More

It's a lovely characterful pub with terrific views of the downs. The service is friendly and helpful but a bit busy and so slowish to respond. Sunday Lunch was good - roast pork - all ok not stunning.

Visited twice recently. Nice setting looking out on the downs. Good staff, gentle service. Dog friendly. Interesting menu, interesting starters. Fireside. The menu isn't extensive but its changed and there should be something for everyone. Some lo-cal dessert would be nice. I'm sure your creativity...More

Sat in the garden for lunch on Saturday afternoon. Fairly busy but the food came quickly and was really nice. Table service outside too which you don't see all that often. Have been a few times before and has been consistently good.

Have eaten here on several occasions. Very good food, local produce, friendly staff, beautiful location. Really good wine too always a bonus to find country pubs with decent wine.
