We've heard raves about this place for years so our expectations were high. Restaurant interior is not particularly attractive nor does it take me back to Europe or anywhere else. Service was fine, food is ok. My $11.99 Munich omelette was smallish and tasted fine. Side of Pancakes were good but omelette came with nothing else. My son's chicken pesto... More

We could see this restaurant from the interstate but had never tried it. I had the "Cake Plate", a sample of several different foods. It was fabulous - best crepe I've ever had, very tasty potato pancake, blueberry abelskivers, and hot cakes. Waitstaff were friendly and efficient. They had a "storybook" with some history of some of the staff. There... More

Everthing I've ordered here has been fantastic! But let's face it, I come for the Stuffed Abelskivers :)

We recently ate breakfast at Old European. The variety of breakfast food was awesome and the food was really fresh and made to order. Our waitresses were attentive and kind. As mentioned, the service wasn't the fastest, but the food was worth the wait. I would definitely go back.

I've eaten here before. The service isn't the fastest, but it's worth waiting for, in my opinion. I had a Dutch baby (like a German pancake - mostly eggs and baked in the oven, served with butter, lemon and powdered sugar) and a hot chocolate. My companion had the Aebelskivers (sp?) with the German breakfast, which was reportedly very good... More

This place is a good go to for Sunday morning. Good service and pretty good food. Freshly made orange juice, amazing crepes and some tasty goulash. There selection of flavored coffee could be improved but they always have drip.

Had been there before and food was good and service was average. Returned about a year later and everything had gone down hill. It must have taken at least 10 minutes to get our coffee and then at least another 10 minutes for the waitress to return to take our order. Food was less than average. Very disappointed as our... We continue to come to the Old European for the great homemade food, fresh made breads and jams, and the Aebleskivers - a Danish dessert, for which they are famous. It is nice to eat a a place that cares about the ingredients of the items, and the customers as well.

The staff is very nice and the food is delicious. Highly recommend. The only negative on this one was the long wait to get a table. At 10:30 on a Wednesday no less. But a testament to all the people who can appreciate the yummy food.
