This was definitely a busy restaurant and no wonder - the food were delicious. Their pizzas are amongst the best I have had and the calamari fritti was simply superb. The Brodetto Di Pesce was something different and unique. The nice Italian wines were reasonably...priced. Unfortunately my Bistecca (steak) was a bit tough but the rest of the food made up for this. Definitely a "come back again" restaurant for me.More

We went to Pappagallo on a friends recommendation and were not disappointed! Our meals were delicious, and the service was brilliant. We enjoyed the Calabrese pizza, Pappagallo antipasti, and a range of desserts! A food arrived quickly, and the restaurant was bustling. We look forward...to enjoying another meal at Pappagallo soon!More

Decent Italian restaurant. Always friendly but sometimes the food is a bit hit or miss. Mushroom risotto has usually been fantastic but recently took friends there and it was very disappointing. Pizza reliable.

We have been here several times and the food is delicious. Last night kind of ruined it for us as when we finished dessert the waitress came over and said ‘Hey, would you guys like some Limoncello?’ we accepted what was seemingly a kind gesture...and then were charged $40 for the privilege (table of 4). A bit too corporate of a sales tactic for our liking, and disappointing too as we had tried to support the restaurant whilst they were closed for dine in by getting take aways as well.More

New to the area, and on the look out for pizza, we tried Pappagallo. And we weren't disappointed. Wood fired pizzas were excellent. Paired with a couple of glasses of Chianti we had a fabulous evening and will definitely be back.

Had lunch today, had to wait 45 mins for bruschetta, not good enough. customers came in way after us and got their food way before us, food was okay but nothing outstanding. I think the owner should spend more time running the restaurant instead of...sucking up to all his mates.More

First time trying this last night. Great Food, Service and atmosphere. Will definitely be back. Pizza was superb. Beef Cheek Ravioli and Risotto also excellent. Reasonably priced wine list, too. Congrats to the team and management of Pappagallo.

Great authentic food, however the service needs to improve. Our waiter took our order wrong for an entree, two drinks and a dessert, along with the extremely slow service this was not impressive. The food however (when it finally arrived) was pretty good, the ravioli...was a small serve, but delicious and the gnocchi ragu quite salty, but everything else was superb. The Pappagallo garlic bread was a winner and the Frittelle a nice way to finish the meal. Was very surprised that a simple thing like coffee was very poor, everyone complained about how bitter the espresso was, you'd expect a nice coffee from an authentic Italian place. I was told the squid ink pasta with crab was a standout but the Capricciosa Pizza was an absolute star, well done. Great value with a meal for 5 coming in at $260.00 Clearly improvements are needed, the service is letting down some very good food.More
