Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Decided to try the Clubhouse again, haven't always had the best service or food here. Was talking to the waitress about their beers on tap and she literally turned her back on me and then walked away, tried to get her attention again and went...to the phone where she was tied up for at least another 5 minutes. I just went to the bar and ordered my own beers. When it came time to have another, she was nowhere to be found, waited for a few minutes and got up again and ordered them myself at the bar. Tried the Jager schnitzel and corn beef and cabbage, and neither was really that great. Not for $29 and $25, there are a lot better restaurants in the area, that offer way better service and better food for the money.More

Nothing better than having lunch / dinner or even a cocktail (or 2) after a round of golf. The food & service has never been a disappointment. Something you have to try is the slow smoked prime rib on Thursday and Saturday. Its cooked to...perfection and practically melts in your mouth. You can't go wrong with the prime rib melt. It's full of beef and a little bit of cheese. It's easily a meal for 2 and I promise if you select either of these two dishes, you will not go home hungry. Enjoy!More

My wife and I joined another couple for lunch. We sat outside and enjoyed the beautiful view of the golf course and surrounding area. I had the pulled pork sandwich and a cup of cheese and broccoli soup. My wife had the Caesar salad and...soup. We thought the food was very good. The service was a little slow, but we didn’t mind as we caught up on things.More

Regardless of the season, the clubhouse is the place to be. Summer has fabulous outdoor dining with sweeping views. Winter enjoy the frolic atmosphere of the weekend supper club.

We went for the Wednesday Nine and Dine. Golf was fun, but the dining experience was terrible. After our round of golf we went into the restaurant for the “Dine” part of the evening. For the package you don’t order from the menu, but rather,...you are offered two entree selections. We waited over an hour for our dinners to arrive, and we had actually told them ahead of our golf round which entree selection we wanted! If it’s the special for the evening, how can it possibly take that long? We heard the server apologizing to other tables, so it wasn’t just ours that took so long. And, it wasn’t just a problem for that evening, the same thing happened last summer as well. This seems like a problem of poor management. I’m not a trained chef, but I think I could feed a lot of people (two different meals) in less than an hour! This is a fun package, and could be so great, but we were so disappointed, we may not do it again.More

Did the golf 9 and dine special. The golf was amazing but the restaurant was terrible. They took forever to get are order and the lady was very rude. While waiting over an hour for raw food. We saw the wait staff eating food and...wrapping silverware at the same time. Also the waitress we had was beyond rude she didn't care about anybody. We ordered the specials and the pork came out raw still pink and cold. They didn't even get me any food. I just took some food from my partner. So I wasted my evening away for raw food. I left hungry and I will never return. If I owned the business all the staff would of been fired.More

Couldn't have been more helpful! Made some delicious sandwiches quickly for us to take out onto the course. Hit the spot, and what a beautiful course it was too. Bought some nice shirts and hats in the pro shop. Can't wait to come back!

After golfing at Jug Mountain golf course, we were starving. The clubhouse was a very pleasant surprise. We ordered a bacon burger, Reubens, and the grilled chicken sandwich. Instead of chips as a side, we had Caesar salads and fries. The service was as wonderful...as the food.More

The chef that used to be here was wonderful--but it has changed a bit. There were only 3 courses for a main dinner. We had the shrimp appetizer and then split the salmon dinner. Both were good, but nothing to rave about. there are lots...of options for sandwich and burger type food. We still enjoy dining here because of the view and relaxing patio.More

Good burgers, casual dining, but steak or salmon too with quite a few starters on the menu. A more beautiful view, if you like mountains, wild flowers and meadows, cannot be found. Dine inside or out.

Four of us had an excellent dinner at Jug Mountain Ranch last month. We all had the smoked prime rib, unusual and very good. The service was very attentive, if a bit overly friendly. The main drawback is the noisiness of the dining space. All...the surfaces are hard, with alot of metal in the relatively small room. There are no draperies or any other fabric to dampen the noise of the overly-enthusiastic patrons. Management should invest in some noise-dampening items. We are not hard of hearing, but even so could hardly hear our friends across the small table. It did negatively impact an otherwise very pleasant experience.More

Thanks for the question - the Clubhouse Restaurant will not be open for Easter Brunch. The restaurant is open for the summer season corresponding to when the golf course opens. We hope to be open by Mid-May!

No, unfortunately, the Jug Mountain Clubhouse doesn't open until the golf course opens - usually mid to late May.
