We stopped here for the first time ordering different entrées. Everything tasted great. Although one the Fajita plates was a bit skimpy. The lunch portions are very conservative.

Because we've eaten at the Douglasville location several times we decided to stop in for lunch since we were in the area....sorry to say it was not great. The service was good, the prices were great but the food was awful. The chips were borderline stale, the fajitas were too salty and the guacamole was a mushy mess. The only... More

I've been going to El Tio for years. All of their food is excellent. They're very reasonable priced. The waitresses and waiter always give us prompt exceptional customer service. They're very friendly and welcoming. My husband and I dine at this establishment often. It looks like a little hole in the wall diner. It's a great place to eat. Everything... More

Prompt service by friendly staff. Excellent enchilada sauce, good burrito sauce. Chips and salsa good too.reasonably priced. Plain furnishings with simple cut paper Mexican country style adornment and a lone sombrero hung on a wall.

This is a standard Mexican restaurant as far as the menu goes, but what makes this special is the service, courteousness and deliciously prepared food. Everything we ordered was efficiently prepared and served with little or no waiting, which included several special orders that were not on the menu. Their food is tasty, neat and appealing to the eye with... More

Well I used to love El Tio and I am not sure what has happened but it was horrible. Ordered texas fajita nachos and specified twice that it was not "supreme". That I did not want lettuce, tomatoes or pico. It was take out so the trick was on me for not checking before we left. It was loaded with... More
