We have a house here close to the Social and go here when we have family. It's went downhill in the last year trying too hard to be upscale and too little to perfect a menu. We waited 29 minutes for water.

We chose Tybee Island Social for lunch after a recommendation. The Manchego Skillet was to die for - one of the best appetizers I have ever had. We also ordered the Pork Clouds (pork rinds) and they were fresh, crunchy and seasoned perfectly. For the...More
Went here on a Friday night and had a good time. Split a plate of seafood nachos between two people- a surprisingly good option and more than enough food. Drinks were a little pricey, especially for local beer. I would save yourself the money and...More
Consistently good food. Seafood nachos are served on a huge platter where sharing is a must. Fresh and innovative ingredients. Unique cocktails. Live music often.
The restaurant is beautiful! Unfortunately, the food was underwhelming. It has a lot of potential to become a great little place. Also, there were some men at the bar that were very loud and continually dropping the F bomb. We had two 12 year old...More
Decor is very inviting! Besides the decor, I plan to never visit this island 'gem' again. Menu is limited to nothing delicious. Overpriced. Understaffed. Very uncomfortable. Literally, chairs are metal, ergonomically dangerous and not designed for comfort. DO NOT MAKE ANY REQUESTS that vary from...More
Perhaps my favorite place to drink on the island. Warm, welcoming atmosphere, interesting cocktails,,friendly attentive servers. The menu is not extensive but once you are behind one of their unusual drinks, that all sorta fades

The ambiance and decor are perfect for a laid-back, classic barrier island beach hang-out. It was a bit of a surprise to encounter an enjoyable bluegrass band playing for tips...and a fine ending to a weekend of Savannah Music Festival performances that included Jason Isbell,...More
Amazing food and cocktails, great live music and a mostly attentive and friendly staff. I love this place. However, it has the nastiest bathroom (at least the men's room) on par with any gas station that I have been too... That's my only complaint.
