We stayed at the Stone Mountain Inn with the Village Cafe an easy drive with GPS. They have their own beer which we enjoyed, they gave us samples before we ordered. They also have a bakery. The café is in a converted house with interior rooms with booths and tables not a large open dining room.

This place had every type of diner food available. The desserts were to die for. The staff at our hotel recommended it as a great alternative to the hotel's dining facilities and were they ever correct. We even stopped by the next day to get desserts "to go" for our road trip.

Typically over priced average theme park food. Lines are not well formed, not really laid out well, and it is kinda weird how you get your drinks some random guy is there handing out cups. No jalapeno peppers for nachos even though they have them in the picture.

We found our way to village cafe after our hiking adventure. It's a pleasant spot, with good food and friendly service. We left happy, relaxed and with some home-made apple bread to enjoy later. I would definitely return if I found myself back at Stone Mountain.

Let me premise by letting you know my wife is a vegetarian. German is usually not her thing, not this time. The pretzel is a must. She loved her German quiche, spetzel, kraut, roast potatoes, etc. the meat was done well for my tastes. Great draft choices; overall, a gem in the a Stone Mtn area.

We decided to give this place a try while staying at Stone Mountain and WOW it was good. Some of the best German food i've had and a good beer selection for the location. The service was perfect and no complaints about any of the meals. Try the desserts, they have a market next door that has an assortment of... More

Every time we are in Stone Mountain, we make a point of having dinner in this restaurant. We both order German food, and it's as good as we've ever had anywhere. It's a small local restaurant, very casual with a German decor. There's also a bakery in the front of the restaurant, and the desserts look to die for. It... More
