I enjoyed breakfast here twice during my stay on sea Island. Amanda was a great server. She was friendly and offered very good service. The food was delicious. I loved the eggs Benedict with fried green tomatoes. I would recommend this restaurant.

This landmark has lost much of its luster over the recent years. Remodeled and under new management, it has lost much if not most of its charm. I used to love visiting when I was in the States, but now it seems to cater to conspicuous consumption. Alas, time moves on...

My husband and I like to try new eating experiences and looked forward to this one. It was more a theater than a cuisine experience. Gorgeous room and ambiance, but really, no need to put my purse on a velvet stool, or to have my name printed on the menu. And as much as I appreciated the attentive service, I'd... More

To be honest I think the chef was on leave th day I went there !! I got for instance veal cheeck : absolutely no taste, the mushrooms served with were the opposite salty salty salty overcooked on top, and romanesco cabbage and green beans totaly raw and with no real taste the sweet was even more disapointing : the... We were fortunate enough to eat at the Georgian Room once. Everything was absolutely top notch. Food, wine and service. We took the tasting menu. Each small course was exquisite, each complementary to the next. Servers who could answer any question, often outnumbering the diners at the table. It's Formal (with a capital F), but why not once in a... More

We ended up getting the last room available as I had wanted to play Sea Island Golf Course and I was told you have to stay at the Cloister to play at the golf course. We ended up with a great unit right on the beach at the Cloister Sea Resort. We enjoyed our long walks along the beach during... More

I love this place and will return as soon as possible. My dinner started out perfectly when I stopped to visit the restaurant and Michael Greene offered a full tour of the Georgia Room and other dining options (my first visit). His hospitality and spirit of excellence and warmth made my entire visit better. The food was delicious and beautifully... More

We loved the structure and design of the building. We also loved how polite all the staff were. We also liked the life size chess board, the solar atrium, and the free cookies and lemonade every afternoon.

Elegant restaurant from the decor to the menu with exceptional service. The wait staff and sommelier were very knowledgeable and offered excellent suggestions regarding the dinner and wine menus. Our birthday party group was spoiled to say the least. Looking forward to our next dining experience here.

The dining room is so elegant. It is fine dining. Our server George was wonderful. Very knowledgable. He brought small side stools for the ladies to place their purses on. The men had the chefs tasting. They were not disappointed.
