Recently had dinner with friends at the Tin Can Fish and Oyster Bar. It is very casual and was not crowded on the night we dined. They have the requisite number of flat screens featuring various sports events and news. We shared a variety of oysters, the best of which was the baked oysters. The fish stew was light and... More

Nice surprise in Sandy Springs with well prepared fish and seafood selections. Coastal joint feel with nothing fancy. Service was good and not intrusive. Fresh oyster special on Thursday night a real value.

My husband and and I have been there around 4 times. Good seafood, reasonable prices. Right after we ordered, they seated a group of totally drunk latinos. Around twelve . They immediately ordered three pitchers of beer. They were totally loud and obnoxious. We asked to be moved. The owner admitted he made a mistake seeting them so close to... More

Went to Tin Can twice in one week...that's how good it was! It's not a fancy restaurant by any means but it has really delicious food. Get the horseradish crusted grouper, the grilled shrimp on skewers and don't miss the sweet potato tater tots...delish!!

Sit outside on patio, very nice at night. Price was reasonable, Mussels were good, Seafood stew should be seafood soup which was good. Paella too spicy. Would visit again to try other items on menu.

Wanted to really like this place as it seemed to be filled with locals. However, the food was inconsistent. Some of it good and some not so good. The overall feel of cleanliness was not what I am used to. The staff was super friendly. The atmosphere was casual and comfortable. But I won't be back.

We came here based on TripAdvisor reviews, and what a find! Very casual atmosphere, and our waitress was fantastic. My husband had the Paella, which is pretty hard to find, and said it was the best he's had (and this from a guy who was in the restaurant biz and is a really good cook himself). My son and his... She had the trout and pronounced it wonderfull. I had 2 dozen oysters on the half shell; excellent and very good cocktail sauce too. I also had the lobster salad. Not bad but more celery than lobster. All in all, very pleasant experience.

Conch Fritters at Tin Can Fish and Oyster Bar in Sandy springs is the go to item. They are great. You won't be disappointing. They taste just like in the islands.

This place is located about ten minutes from my hotel; perfect! Very nice bar with big-screens for watching sports, excellent service. My first time having Oysters Rockefeller - was not disappointed! Main course was grilled salmon with garlic mashed potatoes & grilled veggies. Excellent! Great food, great service, good prices ($ - $$).
