If you happen to be on Mallery Street and need a break from all the tourism, crying children and heat, head up to Rafters! Rafters is a great stop where you can watch tv, play video poker / slots, shoot pool, or at certain times, listen to live music. The bartender was friendly and fun. This is a great spot... More

The setting is beautiful. The atmosphere is fun. The margaritas were awesome! The shrimp, oh the shrimp! It was so tasty! However, they were out of almost everything else that we ordered while we were there this last week. The bbq sliders, ham sandwich, pimento cheese sandwich, and something else, but I can't remember. It was so frustrating. Our server... More

I was here last night with some colleagues, and wanted my 2 1/2 hours back! Worst thing I've done to myself in a long time. The place was loud, smoky and low class. Drunk people everywhere, music was lousy, DJ was BAD.

Well I don't like climbing all those stairs! But the food was good and so was the music. The service was a little slow the last time I went but all in all it was enjoyable.

One side of this bar has dart boards and pool tables and the other side has more of a "club" and a big, long bar. The bartenders were nice and it was a good place to hang out!

A dive, but in a good way! The bartenders will remember you, and what you like to drink. Great place to meet your friends.

This is a bar that the door person says one thing and the manager say another. They only sell bottled beer and no draft beer. This is not a place where you can talk to someone without screaming at them. The music is only contemporary and loud.

I've been coming to St. Simons Island for nearly a decade now, and I ALWAYS make a trip to Rafters. Confession, I haven't had the food. But it's a fun place to hear music, have a cocktail, and chat up folks on the island. The bartenders are always nice and friendly, and it's one of the few late night places... More

The boss's daughter thinks she runs the bar after a harmless accident. If some one spills a drink in a bar you own... It's an accident. As a bar tender and bar owner. The horrible service and maltreatment we received after a spilled drink was beyond comprehension. They should be ashamed of the service they provide.... When a bartender and... More
