Excellent Colombian food. Not as good as my Colombian wife's cooking but best outside of my house. Bande Paisa for excellent example of Colombian cuisine.

My daughter and I returned to La Carreta for dinner last evening. It was exceptionally good - as we expected. We began by sharing an order of Tostones with Guacamole - delicious as always. My daughter had a bowl of the Colombian soup, again. I chose Quesadilla Pastor for the first time. Our dessert was Mango Flan. The food was... More
The moment I walked in, I knew I wasn't in your typical "Mexican" American restaurant. My coworker who is Columbian told me about this place and ever since it has been one of our regular lunch choices! Everything I ever gotten has been very good. The brisket (Barbacoa) Quesadillas are awesome as well as the grilled chicken ones!
I grew up in Tampa and have high standards for Latin cuisine. The food here was really good, along with a tasty Texas Margarita (at $9 a bit pricey though). The guava flan for dessert was exceptional. Out server could not have been nicer and more welcoming. Cute little grocery store attached to the restaurant.

We need to go back so I can try more food. The wife had a chicken burrito and guava flan. Our waitress Salma was very nice and helpful.... More

I have ordered Colombian tamales twice and both times it was obvious that they were out of the freezer (not a bad thing as... More
