What a gem of a find! The authentic feel reminds you of any and every trip to Italy and the menu promises another great experience. The family run tradition is evident, the pride in their menu absolute. Great menu choices - we were a table...of 3 - no entrees sadly but each main course - we had the Vodak, chicken fettuccine, the chilli mussels and the meatballs in a rich tomato sauce - were superb. For desserts, a traditional Sicilian fried pastry filled with vanilla custard and creamy panna cotta - superb.More

Beautiful Italian food, family and allergy friendly! this place is a great find. Our child has anaphylaxis to dairy and we have been so anxious about eating out with him as he had a bad reaction at a restaurant before and to find a place...that caters for him and cooks from scratch with an understanding of cross contamination and allergy is so hard. The staff were very friendly, knowledgeable, and the food was delicious. Fresh ingredients, generous servings, cooked and seasoned to perfection. We had tasting plate, arancini, special of the day, Beef cheek ravioli with mushroom sauce, steak and Arrabiata. Dessert lime pie was the perfect partner to end the meal with. My 7 year old had fish and chips and still talking about it today as he says it was the best he's ever had. We will be back!More

Filling the gap left by the demise of Via, Ciao Fratelli has been a great replacement. Good Italian cuisine served by genuine Italian hospitality. We have been twice now and happily recommend for the good food and service. Prices are reasonable for the quality of...food and there is a good menu selection. Will be happy to return on regular basis.More

We dined here last night with a table of six and we all enjoyed our meals. The portion sizes are very generous and authentic flavors. The chilli mussels were a stand out dish. The service was warm, welcoming and attentive even though the restaurant was full....We are looking forward to our next visit.More

Have driven past many times so finally decided to give it a try, and we are glad we did. The reviews we read were pretty well spot on about this restaurant. The service was warm, friendly, and attentive without being over attentive. The food was...simply delicious. Possibly a little pricy but the quality was certainly there as was the quantity. Calamari for entree was perfect, we both had the specials for mains, ocean trout and a duck something (like ravioli). And the Tiramisu for dessert was very pleasant. All in all a most enjoyable evening, our first time but certainly will not be our last.More

Ciao Fratelli has opened where the popular Cafe Via was and, judging by the numbers dining mid-week, it will be just as popular. I have delayed writing this review as I have somewhat mixed feelings about certain issues. The service was prompt and reasonably friendly...and my wife and I opted to share a tasting plate ($21.50) for an entree. No complaints here, the dish was as described and reasonable value. An enjoyable start. For mains I chose the rissotto pollo funghi ($26.50) while my wife decided on the cozze marinara ($24.50). The risotto dish was fairly scant when it came to the chicken (pollo) and the mushrooms (funghi) and was well below the standard expected of a risotto. My wife's cozze marinara (chilli mussels) was somewhat better but could have done with more chilli kick. When we went to pay our bill there was no polite, "How was your meal?" Instead the lady added up the bill and bluntly told us, "That's $82.50." I paid without questioning (my fault!) but we were either overcharged by $10 or the establishment charges exorbitant corkage. Normally we like to offer local establishments a second chance but with the standard of food not matching the prices we will be going elsewhere for our Italian meals.More

Great food. Excellent service. Sat outside on request as noisy inside. Recommended for groups rather than couples.

I like wood fired pizas although struggle to find authentic wood fired restaurants. Well this one is authentic and really delivers on the blend of smokiness and flavours just the way we like it. I’m yet to try the other dishes although if this is...an indication of what they can do I’m sure it will amazing. The garlic bread was really good too, it’s incredible how some other restaurants with big names manage to botch up a simple dish like garlic bread, not this one, well done guys and keep up the quality.More
