Very rustic restaurant, with cobwebs, spiders and all, was very surprised when we got there, it had a very rustic feel about it, it is a natural, aged and casual place. The food was good, the service excellent. The inside was very rustic too, but...I wish they would sweep the floors. We went for lunch on Sunday, and there was food scraps on the floor! I am ok with cobwebs, spiders etc, but the not an unswept floor.More

Great lunch on Sunday, not too crowded or noisy. Lovely old cottage with dozens or local art works on display. Tremendous variety in the menu and many good seafood choices for us.

Omg. My daughter in law has been coming here & also having work functions here. She gave it such a big build-up. I finally experienced this restaurant. Came for a family birthday instead of travelling too far away. The food was unbelievable. Such a variety,...every guest could easily choose a meal to their taste. The decor of the restaurant itself was remarkably individual. Loved it. The staff can’t do enough. The live music was awesome. Don’t you just love a talented duo who can sing anything & get the audience involved. XxMore

Called in for brunch. Food was great and any alternations to the dish was not a problem. They offer a Paleo breakfast as well. Try their bloody mary's. There is a secret twist. Truly delectable.

This is a lovely place, the food is good and the coffee great. On our first trip we each had an omelette and coffee which was lovely and on our second visit a toasted sandwich and coffee which was also great.

If asked to describe Sawtellis in one word, it would have to be ‘rustic.’ From the outside it looks very rustic and even a bit dilapidated; not at all likes other surrounding stores and cafes. The interior has a rustic decor between stained wooden floors,...dark wood tables and country scenes painted on the walls. I’ve driven past Sawtellis many times since it opened and it has a sign claiming to have the best burgers and parmas in town. Yes, super modest lol. At any rate, I decided to give it a go as a change from takeaway fish and chips. That said, I COULD have ordered fish and chips if I’d wanted to. They were definitely on the menu along with other pub classics (eg. A multitude of chicken Parma varieties, steaks, calamari, etc), a beef/chicken burger menu (plus a veggie burger), pastas, risottos and a woodfire pizza menu. Unfortunately it would have costed me twice the price I’d have paid at the Original Fish and Chip shop down the road; definitely pub prices! I ordered a burger and chips and was very happy with how well it was cooked (and the portion size) and even more so with the ‘bad boy’ fries. The latter earned their name as they were delicious. The meal and drink together cost $26 so I think this will be a treat for me.More
