Came through town on night and stopped in and the kids loved it. Best part was the pie and haven't been able to find anyone to make a pie like that since.

Went to The Yesterday Cafe at someone's recommendation. They had raved about the place. The decor is "yesterday" and includes vintage photos and ads provided by their patrons (Very interesting to examine while waiting for the order or while in the restroom). We ordered fried green tomatoes for an appetizer. This was the best of all the things we ordered.... More

We came to the Yesterday Cafe during the Southland Jubilee. Fortunately we got a table just before it started to fill up. The menu is good with plenty of Southern favorites. The food was good- especially the mac n cheese- but portions were definitely small. The buttermilk pie was as amazing as expected, though!! Service was fast especially considering the... More

Enjoyed the food! I got the fried green tomato, bacon, & cheese sandwich! My friend got the fish, the men got the blue plate special with pork chops and sides of their choice. Everyone enjoyed the food. The tea w as perfect. Ended with the buttermilk pie, oh my gosh! So good!

My wife and I had an appointment in downtown Greensboro and walked into the Yesterday Cafe for lunch. The dining room has vintage photos and a warm feeling. The food is genuine southern, priced well, and tastes great. The service, like the food, is southern and sincerely friendly. Be sure to leave room for the buttermilk pie. There is also... More

Stumbled across the cafe and was very glad we did. Quite crowded at 1pm when we were there but there was a great atmosphere. We very much enjoyed our lunch and appreciated our servers attention. Menu appears to be quite extensive and caters for a wide variety of tastes at reasonable prices

My kids loved the buttermilk pie! Otherwise, the food was pretty underwhelming. Veggie plate was lukewarm at best. Nice service.

I was looking for a place to celebrate my daughter's birthday in Union point yesterday. Yesterday Cafe came highly recommended. It was a good thing we made reservations for lunch because it was pretty crowded. We went to the food which consisted mainly of sandwiches and burgers. The food was good. But there was nothing special about the Grilled Turk... More
