It's an oldie but a goodie. Be sure and get a salad with the hot bacon dressing and the steak soup! Service is always excellent and the wait is usually very reasonable. I only wish they were open for lunch.

Wide variety of excellent dishes in one of Gainesville's mainstay restaurants...Unique chicken livers are regulars on the menu. Delicious "homemade" dressings. Separate bar area has "Cheers" type atmosphere.....You'll see/meet numerous locals.....Prices quite reasonable for considering food quality.
