It was a cramped place and the food was alright but the buffet style order g line was slow. The food was alright but not worth the prove. Would eat there again in a pinch but not as a destination

This is a order your food at they make it at the front counter and then find your seat and eat. They have several menu options and everything that we had was very good. There are several selections of salsa's from mild to extra hot....They are all pretty much what they say they are. All were good. The only bad part of this facility was that the AC didn't seem to be working and it was overly warm in the dinning room making it uncomfortable to eat. I would like to try this place again when the AC is working.More
Went to Forest Park Farmers Market looking for a restaurant that was once there(Closed) but what we did find was a hidden gem. It was a cool, rainy day and we were hungry. I had some of the best Beef Soup I have ever eaten...at a Mexican Restaurant. My husband had beef nachos.More
I'm not a huge fan of Mexican cuisine but I enjoyed this place for the flavor, service, and the great value. It's always packed with folks so that should tell you a lot. Will definitely come back. Right off HWY 75 inside the large farmers...market.More
The best Mexican food that I ever have had, hands down, no contest! Everything was cooked to order, exactly as I ordered. The food just exploded with flavor. I ordered the grilled chicken, and it was supremely delicious! Prices were very reasonable. Not many empty...tables at this place. I really liked the condiment bar, where you could load up on all of the sauces and toppings that you desired (and I sure did)! The restaurant is not visible from the street. It's located in some type of open air market, and is next to a plant nursery. Just use your GPS to take you there. Truly, an unusual venue for exceptional food.More
It is always busy around lunch time, but it is definitely worth the wait. They also have some very good smoothies.
I probably shouldn't write a review because I'll be making it more difficult for me (it'll make the wait even longer! LOL!). However, this place is fantastic. It's fresh and at a great price! Only downside is that unless you arrive early or late, there...WILL be a line. It is SO worth the wait. They are relatively quick with getting your order together, so it's not as bad as it might look (when I left today at 11:30 with my order) the line was already out the door! You basically walk up to the counter and order to your liking (very similar in concept as the chain Chipotle) It's located in the Farmer's Market, so you'll need a GPS to get you there the 1st time, but you'll be back, no doubt! I'm vegan and had plenty of super yummy choices. The guys at work are the carnivores, and they raved about the food as well. There is some indoor seating (not a whole lot) and outdoor patio as well. No photos of the food (sorry!) was too busy stuffing my face with the wonderful food!More
Stopped for lunch on way from airport to Dublin and got the best Mexican food in huge portions for dirt cheap. Burritos, platters and tacos were all great. Highly recommended.
It was difficult to find because it’s actually inside the sprawling farmers market at the back of it. It is soooo worth it! We came at the end of there day and it was still very fresh. Everyone was friendly. If you love real Mexican...you’ll love it!!More
okay, this is seriously not easy to find. I've never been to this wholesale / farmers market so I never would have found it had I not been following someone else. Not visible from the street. Got there for lunch and the line wrapped around...the dining area. Moved quickly. Food was REALLY good. I had the carnitas which I think is always a good sign for the quality of most Mexican or Latin food. Pico was fresh. Horchata was fresh. The carnitas was super moist and flavorful. Really, really good.More
This eatery is located in Atlanta State Farmers Market. It is a very low key and probably family-owned type of restaurant that serve amazing food. I spent time living and working in Mexico City before and got spoiled by all the excellent Mexican food there....After that experience, I couldn't seem to find any Mexican restaurant statewide that offers the same authentic Mexican food until I found this place. Everything I tried so far is simple and delicious. Beef tongue, steak, pork and chicken are all great. You can either order the meat/vegetables in the form of a bowl, enchilada, quesadilla or taco. The menu also offers beef soup (pozole) and chicken soup, both delicious and the serving portion is more than enough for a meal. They also serve fresh-squeezed juices which is also excellent. The prices are extremely reasonable.More
I came 16 mins. before they closed. (They close at 3:30pm. I ordered a Burrito Jr. and chips. I dont really eat a whole lot. It was $4.23 with tax.The burrito and chips were fresh and all of the ingredients I selected tasted great. Next...time I come here I will try their smoothie or fresh juice.More
Dropped into this little cafe on the heels of an appointment near the ATL airport. Due to the timing of the appointment (1pm), we found ourselves on the road during the 'normal' lunch hour, so it was a late lunch for sure. Since I had...seen photos of this place shot at what I considered to have likely been the lunch hour, I was happy to be dropping in at an off-peak time. I ordered the Carnitas Tacos (corn tortillas of course), and my wife had the Veggie "Plate Bowl". Both our orders were exceptional. When I returned to the counter to tell one of the workers as much, he told me how they normally have a waiting line to order that extends out the door during lunch. I told him that I had seen the photos on the Internet and that I was happy to be stopping by outside the "rush hour"! After eating there, I understand the reason for the daily crowd. So, the food was good and the price was quite reasonable. With regard to the Carnitas, they are stewed (if I'm choosing the right word). That is, the meat sits in liquid until it's served, yielding an incredibly tender consistency. If you prefer your Carnitas 'crispy' on the corners/outside (as in briefly pan or skillet seared just prior to serving), these aren't prepared that way. Even so, these Carnitas were perfectly seasoned and absolutely delicious. Don Burrito offers a choice of fountain drinks or bottled drinks, with authentic selections from Mexico. Additionally, they have a seasoning bar at which you can choose from mild to spicy sauces to add additional seasoning to your food. We didn't try it, but they have also a Smoothie Bar that looked very good! This little gem of a place sits inside the GA Farmers Market and is unbelievably easy to access from I-75, never mind the Forest Parkway. So, even if you aren't already at the Farmers Market for some other reason, the ease of access makes Don Burrito worth an exclusive visit.More
The service was great. The food was cooked fresh. The cost was very good. They accepted Visa payments.
Usually get it delivered, pretty good food, nachos are the bomb, authentic Mexican food, usually very busy at lunch.
