Me and the family went here on Tuesday. It was "meatball " day. Sigh * I got meatballs and macaroni. My husband got chicken and greens and yams. My "meatball" tasted like meatloaf (which I love meatloaf so I didn't mind) but my food had NO flavor! The macaroni was over cooked and lil flavor. My husbands chicken was bland... More

I love to make the drive for the vegetables. I am addicted to the Mac and cheese. They also have great banana pudding

When you see people standing in line to eat, the indication that good food is bound to be here (especially if you love good soul food cooking!) The portions were appropriate, taste was on point, but if its grease you're worried about, try some! You'll like it here! We WILL be back here again, for sure!

John is a cook and a stand up comic. Friendly and generous with portions. Great BISCUTS. TRY A HAM BISCUT. FABULOUS! Over medium eggs could have been cooked a tad longer. Order in line, get your very reasonably priced breakfast and sit down to enjoy the banter!

There is food is always good and fresh. The people are always nice. It is packed on subdays..always a line. But I get a little concerned about the dust and dirt.

Greasy and below average, where have you people been eating? Try cooking at home. Far better .I don't know why you people love it so much unless you are lazy and can't cook

Just WOW! What a great place to eat breakfast. My husband, daughter, and I went to breakfast and it was incredible. I wish I had gotten the name of the guy behind the counter that was serving up the food, but I completely forgot to do that. He was extremely friendly and seem to know all of the people that... Owned by ww2 hero John Seagraves, John's Fine Food offers great southern food cafeteria style. Large portions and a good selection of southern staples. It is well worth the trip.

The food was decent, cafeteria style for most of it, but you can order fried fish and such and they make it fresh. The great beans were really good, the country fried steak was a bit soggy as it had been resting in gravey for awhile. The people were really friendly, You can tell his place has a strong local...
