The Log Cabin has been located in several different places before finding a permanet home on Tails Creek Road, (Hwy 282). Sue's oldest daughter, Lisa is running the business now and has done a good job of learning the food business from her Mom. Each day, you have a choice of country cooking on the buffet line. Four meats and... More

From what I have been able to learn, Sue's daughters are now running the place. I don't know that to be fact, but I do know the food is still very good. The hours are a bit confusing and the best I can tell, is that they are open for lunch every day with a cafeteria type set up and... More

Ate lunch after church today. Was disappointed that they didn't have meatloaf today. I love, love, love their meatloaf. Pot roast, mashed potatoes and mac n cheese were good. The cornbread was hard and crumbling but I was able to eat it. Haven't tried an evening meal yet, but I'm sure it's just as good, especially if they have meatloaf,... More

The restaurant has had a name change. It is now Double L. Sue's two daughters are now running the restaurant. The quality and taste of the food is still great. The fried chicken is delicious, as were the accompanying vegetables I ate at lunch. My husband and I enjoy lunch or weekend dinners at Double L.

I would not recommend this place to anyone. I ordered dinner there and it was a total waste of money. I paid $8 for chopped steak that was so over cooked it was inedible, the potato salad tasted like buttermilk. The only thing that was good was the beans. They don't have any servers their the same people that fixed... More

My husband and I had been hearing advertisements over and over again on the local radio station so we finally planned a Saturday night dinner there...and what a total waste of time and money. I cannot even believe there is possibly a good review of the place. The only people in the lot must have been the staff because we... More

Recently, Sue's Log Cabin began to offer "Seafood" nights as a special for the weekend. I went last week and was somewhat disappointed. First of all, you pay a set charge at the door, but the beverage is added separately. The cost was much more than I expected...$20 per person. There was a nice selection of salads, but the seafood...
