My daughter lives in Decatur and we visit regularly. We have never been to Marlay House and we had heard it was good from her neighbor. We enjoyed ourselves completely. We had our two grandchildren with us and our daughter. The Irish Pub atmosphere was perfect and the food and service was great as well. We all enjoyed our meals... More

We love this place so much that we've started coming here weekly. It's a beautiful building, amazing food and it's not over priced like half of Decatur. Can't go wrong with the Marlay House!

This a great Decatur hangout. Local brews and microbrews are in a constant rotation. The food is great. I recommend the fried Brussel spouts which are a unique treat, and worth the up-charge. A replica of Irish and British pubs, this restaurant has a great outdoor and indoor dinning atmosphere.

Service was great but the fish & chips, so so. Oil fried in was obviously old consequently the fish & fries tasted almost burnt.

Superb pimento cheese appetizer! The fish & chips were hot & perfectly prepared! Great service, though can be a wait on a crowded Friday nite; food will still be perfect! Casual pub atmosphere!

I love this authentic Irish pub, but I would go there just for the food! The menu is varied and everything I've tried is fabulous. I especially love the roasted brussell sprouts salad, but the fish and chips is a close second. I like sitting outdoors if the weather is nice.

We had dinner at the Marlay while visiting our daughter in Decatur. It was her suggestion that we give it a try. We ate outside on the patio as the weather was perfect for an early October evening. The tables could have been cleaner but once our beverages arrived, followed soon after by our meals we didn't mind! One ordered... More

Stopped by the Marlay House to enjoy the pig roast and to enjoy the wonderful selection of Stout Beers on the menu. For $10, we sampled 5 interesting Stout pours and thought 4 0f the 5 were wonderful.

We enjoyed a great pig roast and a wonderful selection of stouts. Very friendly staff. The place was packed. It was great-many families and people enjoying great beers in a true UK style pub.

This is the second time I've purchase the fish and chips. The first time, the food was great. This time, the batter was dark, hard and in some places undercooked. The fries were room temperature at best. Finally, the condiment section was dirty.
