We travel fairly often and stopping at Cracker Barrel always has us smiling when we leave. Their service is always friendly and accommodating. This trip was no exception- our server was absolutely wonderful and took great care of us. We were traveling with a four year old she went out of her way to show special attention. She made the... Food is ok. The waitress didn't offer my husband the difference in fish portions and brought him the small. They also ran out of baked potatoes before 7 pm,,,really???? The portions of food are tiny. Dissapointed.
This is a chain restaurant, but my first visit. It has solid American fare that is priced well. The service was efficient and the food was "comfort" food.
Always enjoy Cracker Barrel. Friendly, great service, and can shop around while waiting for a table. Love the fried chicken special on Sunday night. Huge portion - two big pieces, and two sides. Could split if you aren't hugely hungry. Like the biscuits and our server was friendly and we enjoyed joking around with him.
Usual faire at this Cracker Barrel. Staff was courteous accommodating and efficient. Food and service was up to the Cracker Barrel standard. The meal was cooked and presented up to expectations and we enjoyed our time and checked out the gift shop as we always do. Job well done.

My travel companion had the chicken and rice special. It turned out to be rice pilaf that parts of the pilaf were overcooked and crunchy. He refused to make a fuss of it, but it wasn't very edible, as I tried a bite. My food was average for this chain.
lots of interesting inventory on sale....decent prices....not interested in shopping? it's a great museum......food is in generous proportions....not a fast food restaurant by any means......
