The food is top notch, probably the best place to eat lunch in Clayton. My waitress was Daran, she couldn't have been nicer and more attentive. The whole experience was divine, I'd recommend this place to anyone!

We returned to Clayton for a three-night stay because we enjoyed this little restaurant so much. It has a "hippy" feel; food is "farm to mouth," and we love it all. Eat on the vine-covered back patio.

My husband found this sweet cafe looking for a cup of coffee. We returned for lunch. We love this place!!! We enjoyed their delicious curried pumpkin soup and homemade chicken and dumplings, a light and brothy version that hit the spot! The homemade dessert display was so tempting we bought at least one of each for the road! Pumpkin roll... More

Stopped by for a quick lunch while we were walking through town and delighted at the menu and the quality of the food. The crab soup and grilled vegetable sandwich were both top-of-the-line. We will definitely be back soon.

Stopped by here for a pick-me-up while passing through. Probably the friendliest staff I've encountered in a really long time and the best cup of coffee I've had for MILES around.

Enjoyed lunch there a couple of weeks ago. Staff was absolutely delightful and quite friendly. Our food was good & I saw several plates go by that I would have liked to have sampled. Special of the day was a meat loaf sandwich, which looked like enough for two people. I think the piece of homemade carrot cake could have... More

this was a really lucky find! Just turning right to go into town and find a restaurant and there it was right opposite our parking. The decor is simple, the back terrace beautifully shaded, the staff friendly and helpful and the food freshly made and cooked and very delicious. Many locals eat here so that's always a good sign.

Let me start by saying, my wife really likes it. I, on the other hand, think it is a little pretentious. I'm a meat and potatoes kinda guy, and the food here is kinda, "trendy." I expect it might be the kind of eatery you'd find in Los Angeles or any other large metropolis. Again, my wife would write a... More

Great food and coffee at this unassuming cafe. I can through with my mother and kids looking for a quick bite. It wasn't quick, but was extremely tasty. The soup of the day was a chicken corn chile that knocked our socks off. The roasted veggie sandwich was also fabulous. There was something for everyone, and the wait staff was... More

We spend most of the summer just across the state line in Scaly Mtn but this is our most visited spot for lunch. I am addicted to the Veggie Pita (with hummus) sandwich. My husband is happy all over the menu with turkey slaw sandwich. We both love the fresh, homemade soups. And the back patio is a perfect outdoor... More
