Delicious food, however the service lacked attention to detail ... I waited 15 minutes with an empty glass to get a drink re-fill and the cashier charged my card for more than my ticket. She gave me the money back in cash, but it was still inconvenient. Overall, great food and slow service.

With so many BBQ places in the south, it is hard to know which ones are truly good. I tried Hawg Wild on a whim and was not disappointed. Great food at an affordable price. The fried pickles are the best anywhere and the other food is just as good. Definitely a place to stop if you are in the... More

We just pulled in and thought we woild try it and was pleasantly surprised. The food was fantastic! Our waitress was friendly, helpful, and very good. We will be back. In a sea of restraunts this one really stood out.... prices and proportions were spot on! This is a must if you get hungry while shoping!

I stopped at lunch on Sunday. I decided to do the try the vegetable plate. I had the fried okra, Mac and cheese, baked potato, and Brunswick stew. Iced tea to drink. My waitress was very good. The Brunswick stew had a great flavor and was full of chicken. The fried okra was hot and very good. The Mac and... More

Since moving further South, I find that a lot of places are only cashing in on having a BBQ Joint. This place is the real deal, good portions, friendly service, and worth the stop or destination eat. I got the Catfish and boy did I get a good helping and excellent fried fillets!! The side dishes are to die for... More

I don't typically take time to write reviews and I'd been to this restaurant before but last night outshines all other visits! From the moment my husband and baby and I went in we felt special. The waitress was wonderful! I can't think of her name but she took good care of us. The smoked turkey, hushpuppies and sweet potato... More

Went with some friends there Friday night. Most of us got pulled chicken, the only one that got BBQ couldn't even eat it. It looked like fat with a little bit of meat in it. It was soggy and not very appetizing to look at. My friend had to cover it up just to eat his other stuff. The Brunswick... More

Stopped by for dinner after spending the day hiking at Tallulah Gorge. We wanted to try everything on the menu, but we all chose the pulled pork plate. We received huge portions of meat, 2 sides, and Texas toast. Everything was delicious! The service was fantastic. Our drinks were refilled before our glasses were empty. We will definitely go back... Salad was good, smoked wings were very dry and very tough. Very disappointed in this meal. My friend ordered a bowl of stew and that was her dinner. When it came it was a cup instead of a bowl. My friend asked the waitress about it and was tod that the cup and the bowl were the same size.

Happened upon this gem while visiting the Old Mill for antiques. I saw a shrimp poboy on their menu online but not on the one in the restaurant. I asked the waitress and she said they could make it. Now that's service. It was very good!! My husband and son had the pulled pork sandwich & said they were really... More
