We stopped in after hiking Alligator Gorge, ready for some lunch! A great range of pies, even at 1:15pm. We we both happy with the pepper steak pie, and the beef, bacon, and cheese pie. The milkshakes were also very good, with plenty of flavour....The owners were very friendly too!More

How amazing was Rusti's home made pasty from someone's grandmothers recipie (!!) fresh from the oven at 10 am. Best pasty I've eaten after hankering for one for so long living in NSW where they simply don't understand how good a pasty can be... then...we were given bread rolls to take home and a new pork and fennel pasty to eat and give feedback.. the woodfire , the great, quick and hot coffee - wow ! Love it so glad we went in. Just what you hope to find in a country town : )More

Opened and served an hour before opening! Needed coffee and the machine was on. Home made pies and pasties already in the warmer and more in the oven! My partner loved the mushroom pie. It actually has big chunks of mushrooms all through it!! The...service from Rusty and Kate was delightful. 5 stars all the way. Don't drive past this is one! Cheers guys.More

Great place for a meal, we had breakfast there on the way back from a trip to the Flinders Ranges. I had the big breakfast, I think it should be renamed to the extra large breakfast, it was the biggest serve I have ever had....Everything on the plate was delicious, including Rustys home made bread and patties. The coffee was pretty good as well. I would definitely recommend stopping here and check out the menu, the pies sounded interesting with some very creative combinations.More

To be honest I didn't expect much but the pie and pasty we had were terriffic. The pie full of quality, tender steak and the pastry light and crusty. Genuine homemade food at its best. A gem of a place!

Dropped in here for a quick coffee and stayed a lot longer. Rusty and the team were great. The coffee has to be one of the best I have tasted (and I have a fair few) and Rusty's basic food fare is amazing and extremely...well priced. Do yourself a big favour and drop in here for coffee, cakes and other food. Rusty is really making the place look original and authentic and is a great opening to your holidays in the Flinders. Went back several times on our journey and each time the atmosphere was great.More

We stayed in Wilmington for a few days and had breakfast here every day - a terrific way to launch your day trips around the Flinders Ranges. Great food (beware the Big Breakfast - it lives up to it's name and you may not have...room for any lunch!), great atmosphere and good company. Very friendly environment with some fascinating knicks knacks throughout the store. Have a visit, you will not regret it.More

SA Govt. Voucher travel. We were into the third day of our week trip Wilmington to Lyndoch. Stopped in here to meet a couple for a cuppa. This is quite a nice place for a cuppa and something to eat if you want. Very friendly...staff and a pleasant venue. We were also given a sugared doughnut with our drinks. Recommended.More

It is a Sunday morning, and my wife and I are doubtful about finding coffee in little Wilmington. However, this café is open, so we go in. An elderly gentleman in a cowboy hat takes our order as we select one of the two items...of cake presented! We order our drinks, and take a seat at one of the few tables. The dining area is a large room filled with various items of memorabilia. A group of half a dozen locals occupies one table – perhaps a regular Sunday gathering? By the window there is a setting of a sofa and large chairs. In fact the cake turns out to be very tasty, and our cappuccinos come with excellent high froth as ordered. It is a memorable experience!More
