Nice small place with a typical American diner charm. It's absolute authenthic and not decoration. Go for the crusty fish sandwich!! The fries are not McDonald's style but homemade.

Very old place with great atmosphere amazing music and good food. Stopped by for lunch on our way north from the Keys. I had fried green tomatoes with a nice dipping sauce and an ice cold beer. They have fresh cut fries and the burgers looked real good. The service was great and everyone was friendly. My wife had the... More
It was the perfect place for lunch given we were driving from Orlando to Port St. Lucie and it is right off the turnpike. A fun place with dollar bills signed and stuck all over the place, however, a bit of a dive, which is perfectly fine with us. OK, not a bit of a dive. A dive-dive. However, remember... More
We made the trip to Yeehaw Junction for an escape from an afternoon rain storm. The friendly locals and even friendlier staff were a treat in themselves. We will be making many more trips.
So we enjoyed the history of the place, no doubt. Our waitress was kind, efficient, and funny. The food was ok. The burgers were what we came for, and they were ok. We didn't like the bun. The fries were limp. They had great potential, had they been crispy. I enjoyed the fried green tomatoes but I was the only... More
Giving 5 stars means I would absolutely visit again or recommend to friends and family. For the Desert Inn: 1) Quirky, yes, but really very quaint and comfortable. 2) Extremely clean, which is very important in my book. Condiments wiped down, spotless table tops. 3) Very friendly service, laid back and chatty. 4) Sun Tea - brewing outside in the... More
We went here for lunch. Great Place and great food. Fish and chips are excellent. And you get plenty for your money. Cheeseburgers are also great! Husband got the all beef hot dog very good to.
We were driving from Orlando to Miami on the back roads to avoid the tolls and a huge backup of traffic from an accident. We were famished and hadn't seen any place to eat for miles when we came to the intersection (Hwy 441 & 60) where The Historic Desert Inn Restaurant was. We weren't sure (the place doesn't look...
