I had lunch there today. We each had tacos, drinks and ordered queso. The bill came up to $13.00. The food was pretty good. I will go back.

I really enjoy a great Chile relleno but this one was previously frozen. (They told me so). It was a big gob of cheese and just not so good. My husband had steak of some sort with sauce all over it and he didn't like it at all. At least the margaritas and chips and salsa were good. And the... More

They could get a 5 if the corn chips were better and the mens room was cleaner. Excellent quality foid and portions at fair prices.

Food is served very fast, service is very good, but food is so-so. We like real authentic Mexican food and it was OK. Hubby had fajita's with shrimp, steak and chicken........ he loved the dish and we could of shared there was so much food. I had the chicken Chimichanga that was so so. Chips and salsa bland, but cute... More

I went to celebrate my parents 49 yr anniversary and we were treated in a worst way possible. The young male waiter who claimed to be management was nasty and rude in every way. Bad attitude equals to bad service. Food was bland, I asked for a meal that consisted of a burrito, a taco, and a enchilada and they... More

Chips and salsa were good, Margaritas fine, Negro Modelo on tap was great. Taco salad was very good. My entre was wrong, and when it was replaced it was still wrong. Avoid the chili relleno -- a huge lump of cheese with almost no chili inside.

Vallarta's is a great place for Mexican food. Tends to be more authentic than the usual tex-me out there. Refried beans are absolutely the best! Great service and better food. Highly recommended.

Food was excellent. Staff was attentive and the food came out quick. This was our first time eating Mexican food in tampa since moving here and we were not disappointed!

A friend recently graduated from college and was commissioned as a Marine Officer and as a group we went to celebrate at Vallarta's. The business was nearly dead at 7p.m. On a Saturday night. Should have been the first clue. Food was below average, beer was skunked and mixed drinks were so strong we weren't able to drink. I would... More
