When I saw the pictures of this coffee shop I told myself I need to go. End it was a great decision because this place is the style of coffee shop I like. Very bohemian with seating areas outside because you are not allowed to...sit inside. The service of everyone here was so nice and I feel like at home. I ordered a coffee mocha and the taste was excellent, I also got an almond pastry and they heat it up as I requested. They brought me the coffee and the pastry to my table outside at their beautiful patio where I enjoyed them with the nice weather and excellent view. Their prices are great and like I said the service is phenomenal!More
Had the almond croissant which was not just sprinkled but loaded with sliced almonds on top. It did have almond paste on the inside. Don’t know how people can say these are not homemade as you can tell by looking at how the air pockets...are formed on the inside of the croissant. My almond croissant was definitely homemade. My sister had the smoked salmon sandwich with a side salad and the balsamic vinegar dressing. The smoked salmon was very smoky, not dry, melt in your mouth flavor. The salad was crispy and the dressing was killer. Both of us got iced coffee‘s which were the cold brew variety. Can’t say that it was the best cold brew I’ve ever had but it was well worth the stop considering what else is available. Sadly there were no Nutella twists available by the time we stopped on our way out of town. I would like to have tried that but I’m super glad that I got the almond croissant!More
I stopped here based on good reviews and was not disappointed. I may have had a perfect lunch today. I ordered the roast beef salad over arugula. It was just the right size and it had an ample amount of shaved parmesan cheese, sunflower seeds,...and cranberries. The balsamic glaze was fantastic. The nutella twist is something that I have never had before. Unbelievably good. I'm not a coffee connoisseur but I know what I like. And I really liked the coffee.More
Amazing açaí bowl! My daughter loved the Nutella twist. Nana got the strawberry, banana, mango smoothie which tasted super fresh! My husband got the ham and Swiss with a cool looking egg in the middle. Good prices. Friendly staff. I thought $8.50 for an açaí...bowl was a great price. Highly recommend! Carrot muffin was amazing also!More
We enjoyed a ham & cheese, cinnamon and chocolate croissant. Their croissants are the real thing and aren’t bought and brought in.
My wife and I, along with our married couple friends, took a trip to the Keys during late September 2020, and we tried a bunch of different restaurants for breakfast, but we had to visit Cafe Moka twice! The ladies in our group loved the...Avocado Toast, their breakfast sandwiches were great, and the coffee was strong and delicious. It takes a little bit of time to get your food, but just know that going in - you're not going to McDonald's, so it WILL be worth the wait. Make sure to stop by if you're in Tavernier!More
Order the cold brew and an almond croissant...you will not be disappointed! Such a cute little place!
I have visited Cafe Moka on numerous occasions. While their business hours may be adjusted temporarily, this is due to the care and concern they have for their patrons and their community. So, if you're looking for a quaint and authentic European breakfast cafe experience...then this is it. They have the best coffee, food, and service you can find in the area of Tavernier. The owners are very personable and approach their clientele like they are friends. My partner and I still buy the French-made jelly preserves they use in the shop and we can't thank them enough! 10/10 will recommend again and again.More
Such a treat for Sunday morning breakfast. Fresh croissants and quiches. The smell of fresh bread permeates the shop and they serve wine and mimosas too. What more can you ask for?
