I walked down airside A and happened across this quiet and pleasant spot for lunch. If you travel a lot like me, you probably are used to fast paced and noisy, but Sam Snead's offers a space apart, much more traditional restaurant than fast grab and go, and no rush to turn over tables. I had a salad and fish... More

Nice menu, still some "local" items, seafood. But still an airport -- there was bottled water on the tables they were trying to sell us, and the one on our table was half empty. Service was OK, and we were traveling on Thanksgiving so the place was empty, so we had no service problems like many other reviewers did. Really... More

Arrived at 10:04am, server shows up at 10:14, announces only the breakfast menu is available although menu out front had lunch. I order breakfast and at 10:40, server comes out saying there was a mix up in the kitchen and would I like something from the lunch menu. I walked out. Mind you, this is an airport resturant. Everyone around... More

Try the Crab cakes. They are some of the best I have ever tasted. All Crab no filler. Minimal binder. I would put these up against any crab cake anywhere. Its a winner

Food was good. Had the classic burger and onion rings. Wife had the Patty melt and fries. Not cheap but normal airport pricing. Service was pleasant but below average slow. Not what one would expect from an airport restaurant. Waited to order, waited for food and waited for check. Nice atmosphere for airport dining but they need to show concern... More

Each time we fly out of Tampa we have eaten at Sam Sneads. Good pub food and nice drink menu. It's efficient and service is good. Nice cosy atmosphere if you get a booth. Grab a burger and have a couple Tito's before your next flight; Sam Sneads is the place to go.

We get breakfast here every time we fly out of Tampa, it is a comfortable place to sit and have a leisurely breakfast, but it is a little expensive and the service is never very good. It is always a chore to get a second cup of coffee. They offer eggs, the standard omelets, french toast, and regular sides, bacon,... More

I hadn't tried this place before - always preferring to eat at TGIF at Tampa Airport before going through Security. As TGIF doesn't open until 7 a.m. I found Sam Snead open and very good value for money. Service was good, and the peace and quiet excellent after a woman who spent the entire time on her phone had left.... More

Grabbed a bite while waiting for my flight. Food was pricey but oh so good! My server, Amber, was awesome. Very friendly and efficient.
