Scachatta Sicilian Pizza is a must have every time our family visits Tampa. We were introduced to this item 18 years ago, since then we return every two years, and stop by Alessi bakery for this family favorite. By chance, this time, the service level seems to have dropped. Our simple request for an extra box to repackage our larger... More

We used to go to this bakery and it would have case fills of amazing treats. The last few times we have been there, the cases were half empty. They still have a large variety of sweets and sandwiches. Also they have a great selection of grab and go items. A must are the almond crescents. My mouth is watering... More

Whenever I am in Tampa, Alessi is a must stop. Their cronuts are amazing. Actually, everything they make is amazing. No matter how crowded, you are served quickly and with a smile. This is a must-see for any dessert lover!

My friend who used to live in Florida sent me here, and I was not disappointed. We came for lunch and had a Cuban sandwich and a buffalo chicken sandwich. This weekend happens to be their 104th anniversary so they have nice specials on baked goods. We were able to get an assortment of goodies for $5! The special is... More

While there were remarkable sandwich specials, been a while since I had a Cuban done right! Plus there are items for sampling at the bakery ;)

Our granddaughter found this place for breakfast. The egg sandwiches on Cuban bread were terrific- a lot to eat. They even could not resist the lemon squares. Nice bakery items!

We tried this bakery based on a recommendation by a true Floridian. Upon entering the bakery, you are welcomed with the traditional sights and smells of fresh baked Cuban Bread, beautiful pastries, and fine Cuban sandwiches!!!

Deli sanwiches looked seriously amazing and where else can you get a cronut?? :D I'll be back, but, not for anything involving bacon (e.g. bacon egg and cheese). I was disappointed that they up-charge to include a mcdonalds hashbrown (not what i go to a gourmet bakery deli for), they put american cheese on my sandwich without asking, so you... More

My family and I love Alessi's bakery. As Tampa natives, we have been going here for a long time, and they never seem to disappoint us!
