We went for lunch after a business meeting. Wasting time before a flight. Food and service five stars but poor drinks bring it to a four. Ahi poke app was amazing. Oysters were good too and reasonably priced. Shrimp po boy for sandwich also stellar. Service friendly too. Drinks however were not good. Margarita had foam, a classic sign for... More

Stopped into Oystercatchers for lunch after picking up someone at Tampa airport. It was a great find, tucked way back on the Grand Hyatt property. It sets by itself overlooking the water, with cooling misters on the outdoor decks. Our food was excellent. We enjoyed the house specialty appetizer Calamari Fries. Lightly breaded and excellent quality Calamari. We had the... More

We visited Oystercatchers while on a short stopover at a nearby hotel--and were very pleased we did. The food and wine were of a quality we've seen in New York and San Francisco (and the prices, too, but you do get what you pay for). After consulting with our server, we selected an interesting white blend called "Two Arrowheads," which... More

First,my Shrimp and Grits was very good and all seemed please with the food. Just expected a WOW factor but did not get it. Wait staff seemed short handed. It was a special trip to meet out of town friends. All I can say is it was Okay.

Went for hubby's birthday - he's a real oyster lover and he could not rave enough about it. When we first arrived, we went to sit outside to enjoy the last of the sun at 530 and were not approached by wait staff, so not a good start. After we got our own drinks! we then spent a little more... More

Four of us had dinner and a bottle wine for about 300 dollars. We have dined all over the world and WE expect really great food for that price. The place is pretty and the pianist was good....but too loud and played too long. A couple of short breaks would have been welcome! Now,the food.We expected really great oysters at 2.75 a... More

We spent my in-laws 50th Wedding Anniversary there for brunch. Great food with several food stations, mimosa served at your table or you can make your own Bloody Mary's. The service was fabulous and the view of Tampa Bay were spectacular. They serve oysters, caviar and fresh shrimp. The deserts were great also. We weren't rushed for our table ,... More

This was our first experience at Oystercatchers for brunch although we've been there several times for dinner. The brunch was excellent. They had a lovely display of oysters on the half shell and shrimp, that also included caviar and smoked salmon. The salads were fresh and many with fresh seafood. There was a carving station, omelet bar and pasta bar.... More

Booked reservations for three to celebrate family closing on a house! Great wine selection, calamari fries appetizers were amazing, unique main course items (coffee and salt crusted sea scallops recommended) and sides items are a must have... splurge for the lobster mac and cheese.

Service was so slow it was excruciating. Could not ever find server. Would wait forever for her to circle back through. She had the whole lower deck area where we sat and everyone was complaining. Couple next to us asked how we got our drinks finally. It was a Saturday night so they should have been adequately staffed. Food was... More
