My husband and I visited on our way back from vacation and we're glad we did! He had a chocolate sundae and I had a chocolate shake, and both were wonderful. We also grabbed a bag of Lofty Pursuits' homemade candy. The owner is a...More

Lofty Pursuits has been a hip ice cream and homemade candy institution for a long time. But with their new location across the street, they recently added a full breakfast and lunch menu. We tried it Sunday after church because it was not crowded and...More

Sadly, Lofty makes it rather clear that they don't hire servers with any prior experience. We were the first and only table early in the morning for breakfast. Getting everyone's drinks and orders taken was akin to pulling teeth. We almost left. Luckily despite the...More

This is a place my Grandchildren love to have a special treat! The ice cream is excellent and the restaurant is fun, as they have toys that the children can play with. We have been there for breakfast and the food is excellent!

The choices are nice and the ingredients are local! The food is very good and fresh but the service is hit or miss. Still, it is one of the better places for a basic breakfast in town.

The ice cream selection is massive. Everything I tasted was delicious! There is definitely a soda shop feel here. Service is friendly and attentive. There is ample seating inside and some outside as well.
