Pleasantly surprised this trip to 30a that Borago was back in its original space. We hadn’t enjoyed our last visit at the new location at the bay - food was great, but ambience and service was so lacking. So when we saw it was back...More

I love a place where I can substitute and they welcome it. The rice balls and meat ball appetizer are a must order. I’d start there. Then I customized the tortellini to add sausage with their chili olive oil sauce. They should put that on...More

We went here for my wife’s birthday. The service was worse than average (most because of being rude) and we seemed to be troubling the restaurant by showing up to dine. The grouper was pretty flavorless (and over cooked) and the salmon (ordered medium rare)...More

We went to dinner last night and the final tab was over $400, which is not the issue. I was charged $5 for extra bread at our table which was completely outrageous. You have to be kidding me. A charge for bread that was marginal...More

Usually I would rate it a 5 but this time they missed on the quality of the food and thus a four rating. Service provided by Mark, however, was outstanding.

My wife and I visited Borago for the first time after a family friend recommended it. We were not disappointed. Our waiter patiently explained menu choices. We started with a shared salad, bread, and seasoned olive oil. My wife had the "non-pasta" lasagna. I had...More

We just happened to be in the area and looked at menus on both sides of the bridge. Wow, are we glad we picked Borago. The meal was superb. Nice reasonably priced wine, great tuna appetizer, arugula salad, veal piccata and the pork chop special...More

Visited Borago on the last night of our girls' beach trip. This gem is located right off the 331 bridge, and has an inviting presence with string lighting, outdoor seating and a stunning view of the bay. One member of our party has been a...More

This is one of the top resturants around 30A. Many great choices on the menu, from antipasto thru desserts. The wait staff is attentive and the atmosphere is the best and with the view of the bay at sunset it is perfect! Our favorite!

Sorry for delay. Nice place but no dress code that I know of; we wore shorts and flip flops.

Description
We are a small contemporary Italian restaurant. We have a full bar and bar area, dining room with open kitchen and a screened in porch area. We are chef owned and operated and at least one of the two owner/chefs can be found in the kitchen every night. We have a excellent staff most of whom have been with us for many years. We had our 15 year anniversary on March 1, 2015 with the same two owner/chefs for that time. We have a nice variety of food to choose from, with appetizers like calamari and pan seared sea scallops, salads like Caesar and arugula, pastas like angel hair with pan seared shrimp and three meat bolognese and entrees like grouper nicoise and roasted eggplant lasagna. Please come and give us a try!
