One of my favorite things about Il Cielo is the fact that they have an evening bar food and drink option - smaller portions at a lesser cost. If you aren't in the mood for a big dinner (which they also offer), you can choose this option. It is earlier in the evening, but sometimes that is nice too. The... More
The big fine dining of our trip was everything we hoped for. Artistic food presentation, service by a friendly, knowledgable staff and we had one of each desert, all to die for. Expensive and worth it!
We had a lovely meal at Il Cielo. The restaurant is very attractive both inside and out making up for the lack of a view. Service was very good if not quite special. The food was much better than what is found on the island and while on the expensive side, it was not much more than what you can... More
Outstanding food, service and atmosphere. We've been there for regular dining and for there incredible happy hour in the bar. We'll do both again ASAP
Awesome menu, with one veggie entree, but so creative and delicious, I cleaned my plate. Hubby had fish and it was just as good. Been to Sanibel before, and this is my new favorite restaurant.

I think this was our favorite restaurant on the Island. Food was good, service excellent and atmosphere pleasant. While dining they had nice background music. Piano player was perfect level!

Ordered filet bone in special asked for medium and confirmed color with server. It was raw and I barely ate the exterior. No... More

The website link is broken. We are coming down the last week in April and would love to see the menu before we decide. Thanks.
My sweetheart and I are flying in for a week, starting Monday night, April 6. Is there a perfect time of night, i.e. sunset? Should we make reservations for during the week? (Not that first night.) If so, lets get it done. Thanks, Mike
P.S. It's our 5-year anniversary, so I would love the most romantic spot/seat/view, etc. You tell me!
