No wait at the bar and wonderful service. Charbroiled oysters were very good with fast and friendly service.

First time in Sandestin area and was pleasantly surprised by all of the activities they offer. We ordered the delicious char grilled oysters and 2 po boys. Everthing was great! We had terrific sevice and bread pudding for dessert. Thumbs up!

Had terrific lunch. Enjoyed raw and grilled oysters. Menu extensive with many of the same items that are on menu in NOLA!

Haven't been to the Acme in Sandestin in over 6 years. It was good to be back. It was especially good to see Steve still behind the bar, making drinks and shucking oysters. I was in New Orleans a couple of weeks ago and tried to get into the original Acme in the French Quarter, but with the line to... More

We stopped by with a few friends and with each dish we tried we decided we just had to try another. Of course the oysters were huge and outstanding. I think we had six or seven items on the menu and all were great. The restaurant does have a limited menu but then it is really an oyster bar. So... More

The Sandestin, Fla., outpost of a New Orleans hotspot. Way too gimmicky for my taste, plus the couple dishes I tried, slaw and gumbo, were hardly special.

I frequent this place whenever I am in Sandestin. It is a franchise of the the original Acme in New Orleans. There is constant parade of fresh shucked oyster from the bar and they are very reasonably priced. Try the BBQ oysters too - richer and brushed with butter, but tasty. The basket of fried crab claws is also a... More

Good food but menu was not a full service seafood restaurant, if that is what you are expecting. Great if you want New Orleans type dishes, oysters or sandwiches. Not a huge selection of other types of seafood except a fish and shrimp dish.

Everything here is excellent and delicious. Everything we've ever tried has been excellent, but the chargrilled oysters are a thing of wonder and must be savored, get your own dozen b/c you won't want to share!
