I have frequented this establishment on many occasions with very favorable results. This meal was an exception but the lack of any customer service is what leads me to write this. We ordered "bangers & mash" and a chicken mushroom pie to go. I asked...More
Although, I'm sure, you can see the super bowl at the Horse and Jockey, but I haven't. I'm talking real football. The game with the round ball. The one where one uses feet and only the keepers are permitted to use their hands. I've been...More
The Horse & Jockey British Pub is generally a busy restaurant. I feel like their food is hearty. The shepard pie is warm and filling, while the fish and chips are heavily breaded white fish filets with fries. They offer many beers, including something my...More

Unfortunately I was driving so couldn’t test the beer but I believe there are quite a few to chose from. Had the lamb shank which was very nice, asked the waiter for the mint sauce but he had no idea what I was talking about,...More

The best fish and chips is here and we have been to a lot of different place, not fishy large pice of fish, cold beer with a warm welcome, inside looks just like an old pub.
Great food with a lot of choices from this British Pub. Excellent choices of beers. Love the Shepard's Pie. And don't be afraid to order their pizzas. Just a good variety of food at reasonable prices. Good service too.
The food is wonderfully prepared. The fish and chips are a must have. Reasonably priced. Service could be a bit better, not horrible however.
